Story
Pigeon, my Pigeon, you're such a little wild flower!Pigeon was found on the side of the highway by an animal controlofficer. There is no way to know how she got there, but it seems reallikely that she scurried up into a car to get away from something andended up going for a terrible ride until she just couldn't hold on anylonger. That's usually how kittens end up on the highway. She had a minor toeinjury that would also sort of support that theory.Within five minutes of anyone coming into my apartment, Pigeon isplotting a route to their shoulder. I like to say she would only behappy if she could live inside of my mouth, and I'm only sort ofjoking. Pigeon is so affectionate and silly and active that I don'tfeel like she can or should be a solo cat. She would do best in a homewith lots of human attention but also with a playful cat. She would bea great compliment to a young adult cat or another playful kitten, butshe would probably be too much for a relaxed senior.Pigeon would excel as a leash or agility cat. If you're looking for aclever, people-obsessed puppy-cat, this is your gal.Pigeon could certainly go to a home with her step brother, Tom Hanks, but they are not a heavily bonded pair that could not stand to beseparated.Pigeon's hobbies include: wrestling in the empty bathtub, runningaround with a toy in her mouth, and licking feet.Check out an endless stream of photos of Pigeon, and Tom Hanks, athttps://instagram.com/catsruleatx/Interested in adopting a pet from Bastrop Animal Rescue? Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Elizabeth, the 1 year old spayed cat is looking for a new home. She is up to date on all shots and I have all the paperwork to give you. Our family adopted her about 3 months ago and she has yet to let us pet her. We have been loving, gentle and kind and she has just not warmed up to us. She stays in the master bedroom away from our three dogs which she seems afraid of. I believe she would do well in a home with other cats. She is very sweet and has come out of her shell a lot. Elizabeth is very playful and loves to lay on a pillow by the window so she can look out at the world. She needs someone with the time and patience to gently coax her out of her shell. Please consider loving this sweet girl.

Story
Brave, funny, and playful Zoidberg is friendly and tends to form bonds quickly with males. Loves to hang out with “her people” and sniff the wind from the safety of an open doorway. She is a Siamese mix cat with subtle striped points and crossed blue eyes. She will talk to you similarly to how pure breed Siamese cats will. Her and her sister, Whitey, communicate when nervous.

Story
Found abandoned in a junkyard as a kitten, Whitey, has turned out to be a very sweet and loving cuddler. She is a bit skittish, living up to the term “fraidy cat” but once she bonds with you, she will chirp and greet you with all the love. Having to rehome for family health related issues.I hope she can bring love and be loved like part of the family for here winter years since I won’t be capable.

Story
Rescued her from the streets two years ago. She certainly has a princess personality. She can be super sweet but also a little sassy. She loves having company over and meeting new humans. She loves to make biscuits and pur extremely loud when you pet her. She likes her space at times like any girl. But once you start loving on her, she paws at you, meows at you and begs you not to stop. Its the cutest thing! She gives high fives! She is about 2 years old and is a little petite cat. When we found her, we already had 2 cats so we've been looking for a forever home for her. It's sad to let her go but we cant have more than 2 cats at our apartment and our landlord recently found out... She'll make a home very happy with her silly and vibrant personality.
