Story
Adoption Fee: $150.00 This gorgeous purebred toy poodle is Napoleon!     He is a gentle and polite boy who is sure to win you over!   He's 10 years old and 10 pounds of best buddy.   He's very quiet and calm in the house but is all 'dog' when he goes outside, chasing away cats and squirrels and running perimeter guard duty with the other boys.  Napoleon walks perfectly on a leash and is sweet to the vet staff and his groomer.   Napoleon is diabetic and gets a tiny shot of insulin twice a day. He's used to this and doesn't object.   We need an adopter who is able to keep to a strict schedule for his insulin, and he will need to be maintained on his food plan.  He eats high fiber and low fat.   Someone who has a diabetic family member would be a nice bonus but not necessary.  He has no other health issues that we know of and takes no meds besides his insulin.  .   Another thing to note is that because of the diabetes he is not able to control some dribbling and for that reason he wears a male wrap in the house.   He is living happily in his Largo, Fl. foster home with playmates.     Out-of-state adoptions are possible; however, the approved adoptive home is responsible for making the necessary arrangements to pick up their new little one.   To be considered to adopt me, please fill out an APPLICATION.   NOTE: SCMR DOES NOT adopt to homes with children under the age of 10 years or homes with Electric Fences.
