Story
Ozzie is a smart, sweet and cuddly little bear of a dog. He’s very affectionate and loyal. Sadly, when his original elderly male owner died, Ozzie was admitted to a shelter in Salmon, Idaho last spring. Since then he’s been cared for by different foster parents, which has naturally resulted in some anxious behavior. Ozzie is seeking a stable home where he can thrive. He’s a bit shy and wary at first, but once introduced to new people and companions, he warms up quickly. You will find him loyal, devoted, and utterly adorable. Type: Australian Cattle Dog Mix Color: Brown & White Mearle Coat: Medium length and very soft Gender: Male (neutered) Age: 5 Size: Medium Weight: 30 lbs. Status: Available now Vaccinations: Up to date Disposition: Attentive, loving, protective, shy of strangers and unknown dogs Areas for growth: Food guarding, can try to nip if startled, chases cats, some nervous chewing

Story
Tempest is a 4 year old, cattle dog/mini aussie mix. She is very timid but extremely affectionate once she warms up to new humans. She enjoys long hikes and learning new tricks. She already knows many; sit, lay, stay, rollover, go to bed, kisses, down, get in, we're done, drop, cuddles, eat, and get back. She is always eager to please. She is scared of young children and would do best in a home with no kids or kids older than about ten. She enjoys time at the dog park and playing with other dogs but does not like them in her own home. She has been an indoor dog her whole life but enjoys as much access to a backyard s she can get. Tempest would be a great life-long companion to someone who is willing to give her the active engagement that she needs on a daily basis.

Story
Unfortunately, my sister rescued Piper from a severely bad situation but cannot further foster her and I will be helping her rehome her. Piper will be a year old January 24th. She is spayed, has her rabies shots, Bordetella shot, and her Da2PPV ( parvo, hepatitis, distemper) shots. Piper CANNOT be in a home with cats or other dogs, (especially small ones), or children. She needs someone who has the time and patience to train her and correct her bad behaviors. She will need some one with experience with dogs who have food aggression, reactive behaviors, and submissive peeing ( when she gets scared she tinkles). Piper is house trained, leash trained, and she is an indoor/outdoor dog but she likes to spend all day outside. She chews when bored so she will need to have plenty of chew toys.

Story
River is 6 years old and was adopted from the shelter 3 years ago. He loves to play ball, playing with other dogs, camping and is very loyal. Our circumstances have changed and we no longer have our house or a yard for him and he is currently in an apartment. Due to our lives changing drastically, we are no longer able to give him what he deserves and cannot provide the active lifestyle that he craves. He wants to be by your side 24/7, enjoys playing with another dog friend, and is a very sweet boy. It breaks our hearts to have to part with him which is why we cannot put him an a shelter and we are looking for an amazing person to take this amazing dog and provide for him in ways that we no longer can.

Story
Jack is an 8 year old Australian Cattle Dog. Jack is an affectionate dog that loves attention and time. He has higher energy and when he is not able to run, exercise or release his energy in other ways he will be anxious. Jack's anxiety is shown through nervous pacing and crying. He can be comforted during this with attention and petting or distracted with fetch and cookies. Jack was born with a luxating patella in both read legs. He has had corrective surgery on both legs. Jack has also been through a 30 day training course where he lived at and was cared for while being trained. I have had Jack since he was a puppy and am re-homing Jack due to having a terminally ill child. We can no longer provide Jack with the attention and needs that he has. Jack needs a loving home with owners that have time to give him attention and exercise.
