Story
We adopted Zoey 4 years ago at 10 weeks old. She is very anxious around strangers and we are looking for someone who can work with her and help her be more comfortable around strangers. She gets along with our cat and 2 year old male dog. Zoey would do best in a home without babies/small children. She is a very loyal, snuggly and laid back dog with her owners.

Story
Indy is a 2yo female heeler/border collie that is well trained, but remains reactive to other dogs and people. She would do best with an active individual or individuals. She has been running with my father in law and done wonderfully! She is 100% house broken and kennel trained. She is very smart and learns things very quickly. She goes out and plays ball almost daily off leash. She has a great recall and if a ball is included, she doesnt pay attention to anything else around her. She and our other dog are not working out together and therefore I feel she would do best as an only dog. She has been around my nephew and niece so has been around infant to 5years old. I would not say she is dangerous with them, but would do best with kids that are a bit older.

Story
Shaney & Miley are mother and daughter and are very bonded; DOBs 2010 & 2011. These girls have been with GGOH since they were brought in from one of our rescue missions on a reservation in South Dakota. Shaney, Miley and Bandit (who has been adopted) were taken after they were found beaten, with broken jaws and multiple injuries. It was reported by persons on the reservation that Shaney and Bandit were trying to save their puppies (who all perished) who were being beaten by some children and in their attempts, they were hit with baseball bats, breaking their jaws and Shaney's ear. It was heartbreaking to know they had suffered so much but it was heartwarming to know we were there and could get them out safely. Shaney, Miley and Bandit came to GGOH where they had to learn to trust and understand the world was not always a scary painful place. Miley was Bandit and Shaney's daughter from a previous birth so mom and daughter rely on each other heavily. Both love to go for walks and are great on their leashes. Love to snuggle and just be with you. They will need some time to adjust to a new environment but will do great with an individual or a family, with older children, who will give them love and patience. They are ok with cats but do have some issues with other dogs as they are afraid of them sometimes due to their beginnings, running among the packs. We know they are special souls who just need understanding and a peaceful place to call "home". Red Heeler mixes. Please don't overlook these wonderful pups ~ we know you would be happy with them, if you just gave them the chance they deserve. Story
Benjamin is a male Australian Cattle Dog; DOB 2015. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and is micro-chipped. Benjamin (Benji) came to us from the euthanasia list of a shelter in the Twin Cities. The only historical information we have on Benjamin is that he lost his home and was quickly deteriorating at the shelter - he was afraid, nervous and was showing signs of stress which often happens to animals placed in those types of situations. Here with us, Benjamin has been able to run free in our outdoor runs and has had plenty of handling by our volunteer staff and he is doing wonderfully well. He does well on a leash, as you can see and loves to go for walks. We are hopeful that Benjamin will find his forever home real soon - could you be his match? Note: Benjamin is a real ladies man (in other words, not so fond of men). BEFORE CONTACTING US REGARDING BENJAMIN, PLEASE REVIEW OUR ADOPTION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. www.ggohinc.com
