Highly Intelligent, athletic, eager to please and even more eager to learn- this guy craves mental stimulation and purpose. This is not a family pet. Waylon is looking for a quiet home with adults only that are dog savvy with no other pets, bonus points if you have a large fenced-in yard or live off of the grid. Yes, we know- that is a lot to ask. He is looking for supervised meetings with new people and no dog parks. Waylon has started playing in small controlled dog play groups. He loves to play chase, it's absolutely amazing to watch him escape his worries for a bit and be a dog. The reward waiting for you is Waylon's absolute and pure devotion to you. The kind of love that we humans never deserve. Waylon is a little over 4 years old and weighs around 45 lbs. There is a very small chance you will hit it off the first time you meet. If Waylon's story were to be streamed, it wouldn't be on Disney +. Maybe Starz, but probably HBO. Story
Mochie has been a great companion to me for over 8 years and it breaks my heart to see him go. He is losing his eyesight, is crate trained, neutered, and loves adults, strangers included. He does not like small children and that is the reason I need to find him a new home. He would do great in a home with one or more adults. He does fine in his crate, and spends A LOT of time sleeping. Due to his eyesight he no longer plays fetch, but he enjoys walks and loves to be cuddled, pet, brushed and any other kinds of affection. He does have lost of energy when he gets excited, but now that he's getting older that energy is usually short lived and hes quickly ready to lay down or take a nap. He is truly a big sweetheart and I hope that he can find someone who will love him as much as I do so he can retire and live out his senior years.
