I was pulled from a local animal control agency to be saved from euthanasia, I have been living at HSSET since April.Shelter staff describe me as being very outgoing! I love to play in the yard whether its with another dog or playing fetch with one of my shelter staff friends. I am a playful pooch and would do well with another dog who also loves to play. I have lived at the shelter for a while and I would greatly benefit from a foster home so that I can decompress and get some more attention! I am a super sweet girl and I get along great with other dogs! I also have a special quality.. I am deaf! This does not hold me back from anything, though. This boy here is an absolute treasure!! We have no idea what his breeds may be, but just the pure love and sweetness out of this guy.. what does it matter? Merle just wants to love and be loved. He rolls over at the slightest touch to get his belly rubbed, he snuggles in when being petted and talked to. He is pretty good on a leash. We guess Merle to be around 2 yrs old, 33 lbs and he has some stunning pearly whites!! He was born without a tail, so he is an expert with butt wags :) We are told by the staff at our vet clinic that he does not mess in his kennel, and heads straight for the door at " potty" time. He gets along with other dogs, we do not know about cats. All we can say is this gorgeous boy is almost perfection!! He is a vet staff favorite. Merle would like nothing more than to get out of boarding and be a part of a family , even if it is just a foster home for now until he finds his perfect forever. Greta showed up on a farmer's property. The man said he thought his mule had kicked her because she was limping. Greta is a happy girl, and loves to run in the Dog Park! She comes over for pets, then it's time to run again! Greta is a low maintenance dog. She would love to be a part of your family.
