Story
Tyson is a 3 year old,Australian Kelpie/Shepherd. He is a happy energetic boy who does well with most other dogs.
Tyson came to us because of an unfortunate "bite" history. Kelpies are working dogs: (Kelpies are herding dogs who work — they aren't commonly kept as pets. Their instincts make them wary of strangers, a good attribute for any watchdog. ... The Australian Kelpie is not aggressive, but they won't hesitate to protect family members, animals or property, often without regard for their own safety). Though we have seen absolutely no aggressive behavior in the 8 months he has been with us, we would recommend a home with no small children, as he would have the tendancy to "herd" them by nipping at their heels. (10 and over should be great). Tyson loves attention and has been a a wonderful dog here with us.

PAW Animal Shelter is a high intake No Kill Shelter ran by a staff of 4. If you have applied for an animal in our facility and have not received a response within 7 days, PLEASE call or contact us again. Though we do our best in trying to answer all emails in a timely manner, sometimes things get away from us, get lost or misplaced.
