Story
Annie is a sweet, calm and gentle six-year-old Australian/German shepherd mix. She has been part of our family since she was a year old. She loves cuddles, going on walks and lying in the sun. We are rejoining her because we have moved into an apartment and she is not adjusting well. Our previous home had a large fenced-in yard where she could spend most of her time outdoors. She can no longer do that and it has started to affect her behavior. Our family has decided it’s not fair to her for us to keep her when we know she’s unhappy being inside most of the day. She will need to go to a family that has a large yard where she can spend most of her time sunbathing. She’s not very playful, but great with other dogs. She’s very submissive, so she falls into a pack dynamic very easily. She loves kids and all the attention they give her. We have a 3-year-old who she absolutely adores. Please help us find a loving home for our sweet Annie!

Story
This is maysie she is a super sweet dog. She jumps but isn't aggressive. She has had puppies but doesn't have any right now. The only reason I'm putting her up for adoption is because she likes to escape and chew threw her pen, and run in my neighbors yard. He called the pound so now she has to stay up 24/7 unless she's on a leash. This is a problem for me bc she is like a little Houdini and can get out of almost anything. It's almost a constant struggle for me to keep her put up. And I don't want her to be taken to the pound. She also likes to chase cars which is another issue she has. But she is super sweet and a overall a great dog. It breaks my heart that I have to do this, but I don't have much other choice. So I really hope someone can take better care of her for me and keep her safe. Please only adopt her if you can afford to maybe take her to a trainer or something. she could possibly be pregnant being she escapes and there's many strays where I live. So keep this in mind.

Story
Looking for a running or trail buddy? Meet Mac, a male, three month old, Australian Shepherd/Catahoula-mix with a striking tri-color coat and white blaze. This boisterous boy has boundless energy to last on even the most strenuous trek. His large size when fully grown will also provide you with safety. Mac is the perfect fit for an active household with older children who can provide the regular exercise he craves. He loves, loves, loves, to play! Another doggie companion to wrestle and play tag with will help keep him occupied. Mac is a puppy with no sense of danger and a nose for exploring. He needs a fenced in yard to keep him safe when outside. Being a large breed, Mac’s family will need to teach him basic dog obedience. He needs to learn good doggie manners early. This affectionate teddy bear is smart and eager to please. Mac is ready to roll and up for the challenge and adventure! Are you? If so, please go to hsnwga.org to complete an online application to be pre-approved. Ask for Mac!

Story
ASF Waylon is a gorgeous DM who is blind and deaf. That doesn’t stop this handsome hunk from enjoying life! He loves to go for rides. Is learning to walk on a leash but still pulls so a harness is a must. His nose knows who and where everyone and everything (especially food) is. Lol. He does counter surf and gets in garbage if you leave him for long periods of time. He is very smart and has figured out how to open the kitchen cabinets. Waylon never meets a stranger, loves everyone he meets. He would love a quiet home where his humans are home a lot or retired and can spend time teaching him obedience and some touch signals for commands. Waylon is about 8 yrs old, neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is currently on a diet. Still needs to lose about 20 lbs or more but is doing well with it so far!! Waylon is housebroken, good with dogs and cats. Children over 12 yrs old please. He is located in Georgia. If you would like to make this hunk of love part of your home, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application
