Story
Meet AMOS (light brown) and ANDY (dark brown) --  They are littermate "boys".   Both are very sweet and playful.  AMOS is friendlier and ANDY is a little shy.  We think ANDY will blossom once separated.  They are just 12 months old and 50 lbs.  They are super handsome and have gorgeous eyes.  Both have excellent manners and keep all four on the ground.  See their youtube video: https://youtu.be/fmqmw1dSyJ0 Appear to be good with other dogs; cats we can test.  Both will probably be best with kids 8+ years old.  They would love to play with some boys, girls or just adults.   If you want a great Idaho Dog, AMOS or ANDY are your next buddy!  ** We are open by appointment during the coronavirus. ** Please stop in or call us today.  Pet Adoption League 1526 North Washington Avenue Emmett, ID  83617  208-365-1359

Mickey is good natured but too hyperactive for my home. He is a 10 month old “herding dog” that needs acreage to run. Very active and friendly dog. Great watchdog. My home and yard are just too small for him.

Story
We got Lexie as a puppy. She is a mix between Australian Shepherd, border collie, red healer, and lab. She has had two shots. She has been spayed. She went to obedience school. She is not house trained. Mostly an outside dog. We let her inside a couple of times during the day. She loves playing fetch. She is rough with cats. We have a cat and they play very rough with each other. She would be happy in a fenced yard. She loves people and children. She gets very excited when grandchildren come over. She will jump up on them when they first arrive but settles down once they are here. She loves to go camping. She gets nervous around other dogs but after awhile she is good with them. She is 1 1/2 years old.

Story
Foster location: Eagle, ID Breed: Aussie/Husky Age: 4 years Adoption Fee: $100.00 Adoption Application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Vaccinated, spayed, microchipped Wow where to start with our girl Marla. She came to us in September 2019 from a local shelter. Marla was dirty, super itchy and shut down in the shelter. It took a few days for her to settle into her foster home but when she did her personality shined! Unfortunately Marla had one of the worst allergic reactions we have ever seen. We began working with our vet to get things under control right from the begging. Marla was so bad that she would literally chew holes in her skin so she spent 4 months wearing the cone of shame and trying out numerous medications to control things. Once we go the itching under control we began trying to figure out what Marla was allergic to – allergy tests are super expensive and Fuzzy Pawz just couldn’t afford that on top of all the other bills they had racked up for her trying to get her healthy. Through the process of elimination, a daily dose of Zyrtec Marla is finally healthy, happy, allergies are under control and she is READY to find her forever home. Marla is a sweetheart that loves napping! She is independent and very polite; is a perfect house dog that does not jump on people or onto furniture. To say that Marla is loyal and loving is an understatement wherever you are, you will always find her laying down close by. Her favorite activity is cooking in the kitchen with you. She does not bark often, if she hears something out of place she will growl to let you know. Marla does well with other dogs that are not in the family. She does not do well with sharing an owner, so she will do best with a family with no other dogs in the home. Marla is also not good with cats. She is potty and crate trained, and when left alone, she will be fine out of her crate as long as there is not a trash can near by! Marla will need to be on allergy medication for the rest of her life; 100 tablets is $11 through a source on-line; she takes 1 – 2 a day. Marla needs to be on a grain free diet and needs an unusual protein source (goat, bison, etc). We will send her to her new home with a good supply of medication and some of the dog food we have been feeding her. Oddly enough be believe that Marla is allergic to other animals – within days of sending her to a new foster home that had no other pets we saw a huge change in her itching. Marla is a fantastic dog that deserves to have a fantastic forever home.
