This beautiful boy is 3.5 years old. He is UTD on vaccinations, proheart shot and he is neutered. He is kennel trained and house trained. He is perfect with children and other dogs. He is currently in a foster home in Tn and would transport on Alpha dog transport once adopted. He is kind and sweet and gentle and would do well with an active family. Story
Esme is a five year old Blue Heeler. She can be a sweet girl, but requires more exercise than I can give her since I am currently battling Lyme disease. My illness makes her very clingy and protective which makes her not like my other dogs to come near me. True to her nature she likes to herd and would be wonderful on a farm or a good match for some who is a runner. She knows basic commands and is house broken, although she has the occasional accident when she gets scared. She is the best leash walker/runner I have ever had, is very affectionate and loves to give cuddles. Unfortunately Esme does not like kids and can be territorial when there are other female dogs in her home. She is fine at dog parks. She may be okay with a male dog. Esme is okay with strangers as long as she meets them in an open area, i.e. not in a crate or with a gate between them. I want Esme to live her best life and I don't think being around me is making her happy.

Meet Beckett - a deaf Australian Shepherd available through Act NOW! Rescue. At just a year and a half, Beckett is still young and working on training. After just a few hours with his new foster dad, he already learned to sit for treats so he is eager to learn and to please. Beckett gets along with other dogs and likes kids but is a bit too curious about cats. (He'd like to herd them, which doesn’t make him very popular with the feline community.) Beckett would really like a home with another dog who could be his canine companion. Beckett is ready to give some lucky family lots of love and affection. If you need tips on working with a deaf dog, his foster parents are willing to help.
