Story
Flo was rescued from a high kill shelter during the aftermaths of Hurricane Harvey. Flo was scared in the shelter, but her personality has blossomed since coming to the refuge! Flo is house trained and crate trained. We think she is an Australian shepherd mix, but she is much smaller than a typical Australian shepherd. Our best guess is that Flo is about 10 years old. She is spunky and full of life! Flo had a flea infestation when she came to us that we have been treating. The infestation caused her to lose her hair on her back and tail. It is coming back but appears to be a very slow process! This does not keep Flo down at all! Flo would love a home where she can lounge on the couch with her people. She is good with other dogs, but she prefers a calmer environment. We have lots of dogs here, so she often chooses to retire to her crate for some peace and quiet. Let us know if you want more information on Flo, and check us out on Facebook @RockyRoadRefuge!

Story
A family friend drop her off for me to keep because tey where renting and the landlord didn't like her digging that was 6 months ago. ADDY is only 1.5 years old and very playful and loves attention, I wouldn't be trying to rehome her if she wasn't a nuisance to the elderly neighbor couple I am afraid she is going to knock one of them down she has no manners and likes to Chew stuff up. she is just more than I have time for and she deserves more It is sad because I have room for her just not the time.

Story
Hi, my name is Gatsby. I'm 1 year old and I'm a very sweet girl. Since I was a baby puppy I've had a ruff life after me and my fur brothers and sisters were dumped at a shelter. ASF snatched us all up and sent us to our foster homes. All my other brothers and sisters now have their furever home and I am ready for mine! I know my basic manners like sit, stay, lay down etc.. and I absolutely love to run and play. I would love to have another furry brother and sister to romp around with or an active family that likes to hike and do fun things. Note from foster mom: Gatsby is doing well in foster care. She has been integrated with the other dogs. She is smart, loves to work, intuitive, will fetch a ball and bring it back. She has an eagerness to please. Her herding instincts are tremendous. We are currently teaching her not to grab the front leg of every dog to take them down or bite the nape of their neck. We haven't seen any aggression in her so far. Just very rough herding abilities that need to be softened. Her interaction with some male employees have been great no hesitation on her part. She has blossomed here with us." If you think I would be a good fit for your family Please let us know ! https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
