Story
Twizzle is a 5 mos old (DOB 8 Sep 19) female Husky/Austrilian Shepherd mix. She is a companion for someone that is active and an Alpha /experienced Husky owner. She is a very smart, energetic, active vocal pup. She would LOVE to be the only dog so she can be doted on as she loves her humans. She will require dog obediance training, leash training and continued socialization. She is an indoor dog. She is crate trained. She likes to play with dogs her size when no food or treats are around. She will require daily walks/hikes. Will require 6 ft fence. No children, or cats. No apartments or rentals. Twizzle was dumped as a young single pup malnourished and her whiskers cut off. She will be available for adoption in January. All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hello! My name is Cosette and I'm a long time resident of the Corridor. I was finally rescued in Spring 2019 and it is SO much better than life on the streets. I'm a pretty easy girl to please. I like to roll in the grass and take it easy. I do have some arthritis and now that I'm on medicine for it, I'm feeling much more peppy! I can be playful, but for the most part, I just hang out. I also really like attention. After not having any for so many years, I think you'll understand why. If you have a patch of grass, a cozy bed and a nice warm lap, I'd love to meet you! Maybe we'd be a match made in heaven! In addition to arthritis, Cosette also has hypothyroidism. Both are currently well controlled with medication. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org. The adoption fee of $125 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
We adopted Nora from the Oregon Humane Society in August of 2017. They estimated her age to be about 6 years old at the time, making her about 8 years old now, though we feel like she might be younger. We have one other dog, and use to live next to a park where we could go and walk the dogs every day. We now live on the third floor of an apartment building with a new baby and can't take the dogs out as much anymore. It's really important to us that Nora goes to a home where she will get lots of undivided attention and the exercise that she needs. It might be in your favor for her to be the only pet in the house, as it took a while for her to get used to our other dog. She is hesitant around new people and can come off as aggressive with her barking but she is generally just scared. Nora is an EXTREMELY loving dog when she settles in. She loves attention and loves to cuddle. She is also very playful pretty much all the time, but understands when it's time to relax.
