Story
Jewel was around 6 years old as of January, 2020 and has a loving temperament with people and has been around children with no issues. She has the typical shyness of an Aussie on first meeting but is very quiet about it and it doesn't take to long for her to warm up. She is best with small dogs or dogs that don't get all over her as she can take or leave another dog. She is more about exploring and getting a snack or some love. She cannot be around chickens or cats at all. She loves her outside time and will need a nice yard to spend some of her day in. Jewel walks very well on a leash and is crate/house trained. She is also a quiet girl. She is heartworm negative, spayed and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at RichardsonRescue.org. All visits require an approved application and are by APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Quinn is a loyal loving cuddle bug who knows a lot of fun tricks and is highly intelligent. I adopted her as a puppy but over the years she has struggled with having siblings. It has come to a head and I believe it is unhealthy for her and my other animals to continue cohabiting. She is 5 years old, healthy, house trained, sweet as can be, does not chew furniture or furnishings, or anything that is not directly “given” to her. She would be perfect for a family with kids who are at least in high school or a couple without children or other animals. She needs to be the star of the show to thrive and she deserves that lifestyle. She can be just as lazy as she is active, so she is very adaptable to all lifestyles. It is with a broken heart that I search for a home that will meet all of her needs since I am ill equipped to do so.

Story
Squirrel is a 20 month old Australian Shepherd and Lab mix. He’s very energetic, and would do best having lots of room to run out his energy. He does get along with other dogs and has no aggressive nature, however other dogs tend to not like him because of his hyperactivity and lack of personal space boundaries. Overall, he has a lot of love to give, and I want him to go to a home that will give as much love back.
