Welcome Shasta. She is an adorable 10-week-old Australian Terrier. Looks like a very high mix or pure-bred dog. She is a little pistol that is full of energy, excitement, inquisitive, outgoing, social and brave beyond her age. She is stunning and likes to be held. She is going to need daily exercise and a fenced yard will be the best. She is going to be a rodent dog and would not be good for any underground fencing. She is good with other dogs and if you keep her around them she will be the social little dog she is now. She is also in a home with a cat and is doing fine. She has other distractions so as an only with a cat you would have to work with her. She is very playful and may want to play like she does with her doggie siblings. She would be great in a home with kiddos but due to her small size we would say 7 or older would be best. We would love someone who has had this breed or loves the Terriers. She is lower shedding and cute as a button. She will be ready to go to her forever home in the beginning of May. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to have her delivered to Washington, Portland, Vermont, Minnesota or all along the East Coast.
