Story
Meet our precious little  Junebug !!! She is absolutely the cutest and makes the funniest sounds! She is definitely bulldog mix! Junebug  was found living among a neighborhood feral cat colony. Someone picked her up and took her to BARC not realizing what her fate would be, especially as a heartworm positive girl. They begged us to help and her she is. Junebug  is probably about 2 years old, is significantly underweight at 50 pounds. She is heartworm positive but has already started her slow kill treatment. If interested in fostering or adopting please fill out the appropriate application at  www.scoutshonor.org  . This little girl will definitely keep you laughing!

Story
If you would like more information about Brutus or are interested in adopting him, please send an email to Nichol.Gomez333@gmail.com Brutus is a 6 year-8 month old, pure breed Olde English Bulldogge. He is full of energy and loves to play. He has been trained and knows different tricks. He is house trained, crate trained and sleeps inside, but he loves playing outside. He is current on all vaccines. Brutus loves attention and can be a big lap dog. He can play all day if we let him. He can be extremely goofy and clumsy. He doesn’t have much experience with children or cats. He grew up with a 9 lb female shih tzu that was the boss of him. He doesn’t do well with other male dogs. Since we had our baby, we have not been able to keep up with his training or give him the structure, attention and engagement that he needs so he started to act up and has shown some aggression. Brutus needs someone who will be patient with him and give him the attention and playtime that he needs. Brutus is allergic to grain, This animal posted is not under the care, custody, or control of Friends For Life and shall at no time be considered the property of Friends For Life. Story
Iggy is a sweetheart of a girl who wants nothing more then to be told she did a good job. She is kennel trained but does not need it, she's great left out to warm your pillow until you get home. She is amazing with my kids and other dogs but does NOT do well with my cat. She has basic manners as far as sit, down, and stay are concerned but needs a little bit of training to walk on a leash without pulling.

Story
We took Oliver when he was 8 weeks old because he needed a home. I already have 6 dogs and 2 cats. He is just now a year old. He is very sweet and playful. I just never intended for him to stay this long due to vet costs and the fact I already have so many. He is good with small kids, other dogs and cats. He does has a few bad habits. He eats his poop if you don’t scoop it right away. If he gets to playing inside and you aren’t watching close he will potty but usually as long as he is out often enough he doesn’t. He is a bit of a wild child when he’s playing but not aggressive. He is crate trained and sleeps in it at night and if I go somewhere. He needs to be in a home where someone is home most of time.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption fee: $250 Location: Houston area Nutmeg came to Short Mugs after her owner left her at a Texas shelter because she was just to “mature”.  At 10 years old Meg is hoping to win her Golden ticket to her forever home with someone who can appreciate her spunky, sweet personality.  Meg came in with skin allergies, ear infections so bad her ears are calcified from neglect and dry eye which requires daily eye drops.  The neglect she suffered has left her hearing impaired, but not deaf and sight impaired, but not blind.  Meg is good with the 3 female dogs in her  foster home, she is crate trained, no anxiety, potty trained, would do best with a midday potty break during the work day.  Apartment living or in a home suits her just fine, but most importantly no stairs as this would  make navigation just to hard for her.   Meg enjoys a soft bed, numerous naps during the day, chew toys, Nylabones and she loves to eat, so get  ready to see the Bulldog happy dance. Meg will do best in a home without children as she can get overly stimulated during house hold chore time...Vacuums, floor cleaners, brooms, mops, spray bottles are not her favorite things and she will do best being in a separate part of the home when it is time to clean.    Could you be Nutmeg’s golden ticket to her forever home filled with love?  Please submit your adoption  application today. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
Meg is such a sweet girl, she adores hanging out with people, playing fetch, napping in the sun, treats and a good belly rub!  She's a good car rider, has been through basic obedience training, is crate trained and is waiting so patiently for a home so that she doesn't have to live at a boarding kennel. If you are interested in Meg and would like to fill out a Dog Adoption Application, please go to: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt from us but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started.
