Story
Sausie is an adult bully mix (maybe 5 years old, we aren't quite sure). She is a very loving and sweet pup who loves people! She gets along with other dogs but isn't that much into playing with them and would rather snuggle with people. Sausie likes older children and adults. She is VERY affectionate and will always be snuggled up to your side, whether you are on the couch watching TV or in bed. She is a velcro dog who would love a stay-at-home parent with nothing better to do than to snuggle her all day long. She does pull on the leash to try to chase squirrels, etc., so needs a capable and strong owner - preferably with bully or large dog experience. She is fully vetted, is housetrained, has no known health issues, and is ready for her new family! She is fostered in Houston TX and will not be transported until adopted. Her fee is $500. Story
My name is Albert from Korea and I am a wonderful 2 year old Male English Bull Dog.  I am 38 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am a very happy, affectionate, and friendly dog who was just saved from the Korean slaughter farms. Korea kills 2.5 million dogs a year to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family. Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I need a home with a fenced-in yard and will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of exercise, love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $2,200. will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Grooming, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle. A part of this adoption fee will also help us build our brand new 2 acre sanctuary. We are in need of building a new indoor barn for the dogs. The adoption fee is firm and helps cover medical expenses for our other rescue dogs in need of orthopedic surgery, urgent vet care, dental and teeth extractions, cherry eye removals, and more.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.

Story
Available through CCPAL. Welcome Ferdinand. He is a 90-pound Bulldog/Basset Hound is our guess. He is probably about 4 years old. He is very good with people and warms up slowly to other big male dogs but really gets along well loose in a pack at the rescue. He was found tied up in the back of an abandoned house. He was being fed by the neighbors. He has a chip but his owner has never called back so he is now up for adoption. Personally, we think anyone that would tie a dog up and leave isn’t a good adopter anyway. He won’t need mounds of exercise. A fenced yard where he can check things out would be sufficient. He is independent and goofy. He likes it when we are at the kennels and he keeps an eye on us and follows us around. He has a big smile on his face when he is happy which is most of the time. He would be perfect for someone who wants a nice dog for company. Let’s say your husband works away from home a lot and you want to feel safe. He would look a bit challenging and would bark if someone came in the yard. He would warn you someone was there he didn’t know. That alone would be some protection. We don’t know how he is with cats but he has the typical Bulldog personality that is very assertive on his introduction and sniffing and it startles most dogs and some don’t like it. He is a big mush to people he loves and he is very clear that he loves you. He wears his feelings on his face. He is ADORABLE and we are looking for a home with a fenced yard and someone experienced with a large breed or bulldog as an owner. He is healthy, up on his shots, good in a crate and ready for his forever home. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to maudreyh@aol.com for an application. Good with dogs,
Story
Meet Chevy Jum My name is Chevy and just like Chevy Chase in all of those National Lampoon’s Vacation films, I too took a road trip, but unlike Mister Chase, I didn’t have a family with me. Or at cool station wagon either. I was hitchhiking by patamobile all by my lonesome. I was several pounds underweight and all my ribs could be counted. I should be a 50 pound guy, but started off about 35 pounds. I am told I am a male *glances down under neath*, yep, 2 years old *rubs his tongue along his teeth*, yep, Chinese Shar Pei dog *wrinkles his already wrinkled brow*, yep, maybe a mix, but who knows with what. I have the teeny ears folding down tightly on the top of my noggin like a hanky in a suit pocket. A tail tail sign of a Shar Pei, plus I a furrowed brow even when there is nothing to be furrowing about. On human faces the wrinkles in between the brows are called WTF lines, which I hear ladies whisper to themselves often. In dog WTF means Where’s The Food. Due to my days of spending time on my own and having to actually hunt for food and doing a poor job of it. Like where do sammiches live even???? I tend to be a hangry eater and have to be fed sepawrately from the other dogs here. This may pass over time, but for now, be prepared to set me up a sepawrate dining zone. Other than my meal time ‘bouts of hunger flashbacks, I am typically, a friendly, happy, playful guy. I don’t bit any fingers off and take treats gently. I wait patiently for my turn at treats. I live with a small female dog and a large female dog and I never squabble with them, they are my friends. I am great on a leash and crate trained. I enjoy attention and hugs and ear scritches. So what do you say, do you want to be my road trip family? GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Story
Meet Atia YC Name: I am known as Atia. Favorite Animal: The honey badger. I admire their tenacity. I will chase my toy tire until my heart explodes. No really, Foster Mom has to call a timeout and bench me and squirt water in my mouf like I am Rocky Balboa. Age/Weight/Breed: I am a female 1-2 year old, 35-40 pound, Bull Terrier. I am thought to be purebred and if you google Bull Terrier temperament, I am a textbook case. I am a stero typawcal Bull Terrier, my speed is 100 miles per minute which is 700 in dog time. Favorite Shopping Store: Target. And it’s not just becuz they use a Bull Terrier in their commercials. Where else can you go in to buy toofer paste, come out with $278.98 worf of cool stuff and no toof paste. That’s how I live my life, like I am an impulse shopper at Target. Favorite Famous Bull Terrier of All Time: Spuds MacKenzie the Bud Light mascot is my fave famutts Bull Terrier. The dog's real name was Honey Tree Evil Eye, what a cool name. If you adopt me, change my name to Atia Honey Badger Tree Evil Eye *Insert Your Last Name Here*. People are my jam! I love humans, especially humans that can keep up with my endless energy. I love rubs from people. I do pull on my leash, but respawnd to correction. I am gentle as a feather when taking treats from human fingers. Any Skills Like Sit or Down: Lol, ha, okay, I get that “sit” means put your hiney on the ground. I totes get that, buuuutttttt, why??? Why do it when I will just use my cute egg shaped face to get the prize anyway. I will need a fam that doesn’t mind a girl with her own agenda and has patience for a bull headed dog. Potty/Crate Skills: I am potty and crate trained and overall pretty quiet, though I will vocalize when I want something, like a potty break or piece of food. Favorite Toy: I asked to be photographed with my FAVORITE toy, my black toy tire. I never get tire-d of playing with it! Ha, ha, I never get tire-d period. If you adopt me, Foster Mom has assured me and pinky toe sweared, practically spit in the palm and shook on it….. to me that I get to bring my tire along in the deal, so if you have anything against tires, do not apply. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hello, Kringle! Kringle was in rough shape when he was rescued around Christmas in 2019, but he's doing great now! Kringle was found tied to a pole in the rain. He had a swollen leg and 2 entropion eyes (not uncommon in Sharpeis), not to mention intestinal parasites and bad skin. Kringle had what is basically reconstructive surgery of the knee due to arthritis. And he had his eyes fixed. He's a new guy and loving life. He can be a little hard headed, as is common with the Sharpei breed, but he's as sweet as they come. He gets along with all the dogs he's been introduced to, also! Due to his knee surgery, he's been on restrictive exercise, but we have no doubt that he will love to take walks once he's feeling better. He loves to sniff out his environment also, and will occasionally chase after a toy that's been thrown. However, he's probably not going to be bringing it back to you. Kringle is uncharacteristically friendly for the Sharpei stereotype, proving, yet again, that you can't judge a book by it's cover. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org. The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!
