Story
Blyss is a true survivor and an amazing middle-aged lady. She lived many rough years on the streets of San Antonio and had many litters of puppies as her body tells that story. She didn't have much hair so to see her thick beautiful red coat come in was amazing. She was understandably shy and timid and bolts with quick movements as that is the only way she survived - always on guard. She took a little while to trust us and still has some shy tendencies but that's ok. the rescue is pretty active and busy so one on one time is limited. She is house trained, uses a doggy door, is comfortable in a crate, good with other dogs of both sexes and all sizes. She hasn't liked a couple of other dogs but hey - us humans don't like everyone we meet either! She is current on vaccines, spayed, treated for heartworm and very ready for her own loving home to live out her years (which she has many left) without fear of ever being alone or hungry. Are you the right home for this big girl? Please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note all dogs are located in San Antonio, TX. We advertise out of state due to the critical pet overpopulation problem here in the south. We use Your Texas Rescue Connection to transport the dogs to your area. They are all up to date and come with a health certificate. The fee is $170 adoption and $160 transportation = $330. Thank you for considering adopting a southern dog.
