Story
Nikko is a 5 year old Setter mix who found himself at the local county shelter. Nikko needs an experienced dog owner who is willing to train him and spend time with him. He is eager to please and likes to lay at your feet while you watch TV or work at your desk. When you move, he will be right there with you. Because of a bad rap in his past, he should not live with children or anyone with a heavy hand. (He will not stand for being smacked.) Nikko also does not like to share his food so he should be fed separately from any other dog in the house. Nikko LOVES to run and chase birds in the yard, go for walks and ride in the car. He is affectionate but also likes his own space. Nikko needs appropriate and ample exercise. Nikko is crate and house trained, up to date on his vaccines and altered. Our adoption process includes an application, interview, home visit and meet/greet with the dog and all members of the family. We do a 2 week trial with all adoptions. If you decide the dog is not the right fit for you, we will return the adoption donation and take back the dog after 2 weeks. We will ALWAYS take back a dog even after the 2 week trial. She is shy at first but once she is comfortable with you she will never leave your side! Pams adoption fee is $450 and includes her spay, vaccines, vet visit, microchip and 30 day pet insurance!
