Meet Boomer, a handsome English Springer Spaniel mix.  Boomer is an incredible dog rescued from a rural shelter where he arrived as a stray.  It's hard to believe this sweet guy found himself homeless.  Boomer is a wonderful companion!  He is housebroken, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.  Boomer loves people of all shapes and sizes.  He enjoys the company of other dogs too!  His hobbies include watching Netflix, chasing squirrels, and playing with squeaky toys.  Boomer considers himself a foodie and he loves to eat.  He has an adorable hound dog nose and an amazing sense of smell.  He is well behaved and wants to please his people.  Boomer is around 45 pounds and fully grown.    We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Hey there. My name is Dalena and I am a wiggle butt. I am also extraordinarily happy and joyful and love to prance and dance and snuggle and play. I am around seven, but have the energy of girl much younger, so dont let these grays fool you. I love toys and walks and to romp in the outdoors; if you throw the ball, I might bring it back (but I might not). Ive been through obedience training so I can understand if you tell me to sit or lay down. Speaking of laying down, I'd love to lay down at your feet while you work, or go outside with you if you are out there, in the car, on a walk. I'll pretty much go where you go. I'd prefer to be in a home without young children, other dogs or cats. Cats are really just big squirrels to me and I largely feel compelled to chase them. Not sure if I'd eat them, but you may not be able to tell the difference. Anyhoo - right now I'm tired, ready to settle down in a home with folks that love me. You've heard the phrase, "Cute as a button?" Well that is a perfect way to describe Rosie. This little girl is the runt of her litter and all of 5 lbs (4-5-20). Rosie gets along great with other dogs but can be the annoying little sister sometimes. She loves to play with stuffed toys, especially those twice as big as she is. Rosie also plays very well alone. As a matter of fact her foster mom believes she has an imaginary friend that she plays with. She loves being outside a lot. Rosie knows how to sit and will very patiently wait her turn for a treat. She is doing great with her house training but stills has an accident here and there. The best thing is in the evening when everyone settles down from a long day she will snuggle up on whoever is closest and fall fast asleep.
