Please read entire description. If ad is still viewable, we are still accepting applications. No phone calls, please. If you have questions, read the description again. We attempt to cover all known information about the dogs in our writeups. Meet and greets are set up by appointment only after we receive and review your application. If there are certain requirements for a particular pet that you are interested in, please ensure you meet that criteria. One application works for all of the pets in our care. To apply for a pet, please visit our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. This is the first and required step of the adoption process. We want all placements to be the best fit for dogs, humans, and other pets in the home. We do offer a trial period of time to make sure everything is working in the home.
Radar is a 2 year old , happy-go-lucky, St. Bernard mix. He's a lovable 70 pound hunk who is looking for a new home. He has co-existed sharing space with other pets in the home, but has recently decided he is worthy of 100% of all the attention and it is causing some problems that cannot be resolved. He would love a home where he can be doted on by his humans and have it all to himself.
Radar knows some basic commands. He is house trained, crate trained, and loves to be right by his people. He has only known life with at privacy fenced yard and could likely go right over standard chain link to see the squirrels a little more up close. He would do just fine with children who know how to behave appropriately around dogs. We would not recommend cats in a home with Radar. Radar romps and plays with other larger dogs and does well for short periods of time, but should be the only dog in the home ongoing.
Radar is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If interested in meeting Radar, please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adoping. 1. He should be the only pet in the home. 2. Ideally, his new home should have a privacy fence. His adoption fee is $175.
