Story
TRUST
a : assured reliance on the character, ability, strength, or truth of someone or something.
b : one in which confidence is placed.
Goodness, this is a tough word for me. I mean, I understand the definition, I just can’ quite execute it. I’d love to find someone I can trust-maybe someone like you? I could be the furry companion that you cherish, the one that will always be by your side. Truthfulness and loyalty are the qualities I possess, and once I find someone I can rely on, I’ll be their best friend for life. If we are being open and honest with each other, and I’d like us to be, then I will tell you that my past was pretty darn rough. It seems that I never received the love or socialization I deserved. But over the last few weeks things have really been looking up for me, I’m really bonding to the staff here and even showing my instincts to protect them! I have learned all about crate training and housebreaking, I get along with other dogs but do get jealous so I will prefer a sister rather than a brother, and I will do okay sharing my home with dog-savvy cats. I will even appreciate the gentle affection of teens and adults, but since I really struggle when it comes to sharing, whether it be my food bowl or my love (at first!) I do need a family without children. So what do you think? Can you help me understand the meaning of Trust?
