Story
Remington - Greater Swiss/Hound Mix - Male - 2 years - www.twyla.org If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org Remington is an energetic 2-year-old Greater Swiss Mountain dog/Coonhound mix (we think) who likes to play with toys and other dogs. His previous placement was not working out as he was more dog than the family and resident dog were able to handle. Remington is active and energetic, loves to play ball, is house and crate trained and walks well on leash. He is very smart, learns quickly and wants to please. Remington is looking for a dog-experienced home that can give him the guidance, training and exercise he needs and craves. He likes playing with other dogs, but has to be reminded not to guard his resources, like toys, food and sometimes people. As he's a large and somewhat pushy character, he's looking for an large-breed experienced home, with or without a similar sized balanced dog. ***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
