Pot Pie's family loved her dearly but fell upon hard times and had to give her up. They said she is easy to love. She is a low-energy lady who weighs 63 pounds and needs help shedding her extra weight. She loves car rides and sleeping. She is house trained and always had free roam of the house but needs meds for a urination issue to keep her on track. She knows the down command. She walks well on a leash. She behaves well and never got into trouble. She is affectionate and loves sitting on a lap and being petted. She is used to children as young as three and is easygoing, friendly, gentle, and submissive. She is cautious around and sometimes afraid of cats so she should not live with one. She is easygoing, tolerant, and respectful around other dogs but rather picky about her canine friends so you'll need to bring yours to meet her. Please offer this mellow social butterfly the home and family she needs. (tw 3/9/2024)Are you a senior too? CAP offers free adoptions to adopters over 60 if the animal is over seven years old!

Once he gets to know you he’ll want nothing more than to sit by your side and accept all your affections and praises. He’s a very sweet and friendly boy, but he can also keep himself amused by wondering around the play yard by himself. Bucky is an amazing 2YO who has been in shelter since 6/17/23.

Named after Moana`s silly rooster sidekick, our Hei-Hei is both adorable and fun! He`s a 6YO American Bulldog mix who has been in shelter since 6/27/23. Hei-Hei is such a sweet and friendly boy. He loves being around people and getting attention. He loves being pet - it makes him a very happy boy! He loves treats, but hasn`t caught on to any tricks yet. He does take them nicely from your hand though. He`s mostly calm, but he does have occasional moments of excitement where he seems to dance around. He`s careful not to knock into you though and is aware of his size enough to know to be gentle with people. He`s very easy to walk on leash. We`d describe him as having an average energy level.
