Contented Critters Animal Sanctuary is licensed by the state of Minnesota. It is a haven for the abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted animals of St. Louis County. This non-profit. NO-KILL animal sanctuary is fully funded by donations. Contented Critters is run by an all-volunteer staff whose sole purpose is to protect and care for these animals until suitable homes can be found for them. We are committed to stopping the over-population of unwanted animals. No animal leaves this sanctuary without being spayed or neutered.

We serve ALL of St. Louis County, Mn. and are an outreach for the Sheriff's Department, Social Services. We are the only mobile rescue unit in Minnesota.

The adoption process requires a simple page fill in with the adoptee's information. Because Contented Critter's Sanctuary takes in every type of animal/bird/reptile fees are different. Fees for dogs and cats are reimbusement for the vet bill incured for wellness check, vet care if needed, spay/neuter, worming and shots.
