Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out our adoption application, once completed it will be reviewed by our staff members. If you have current animals we do call your vet to verify that they are up to date on their vaccines. We will also contact your Landlord if you rent to verify that it is okay for you to have pets, and that the pet you are interested in is okay with owner of the property.
Our adoption fees for dogs is as follows:
$90 if they are new to the shelter
$75 if they have been with us for 6 months or more
$50 if they have been with us for over 1 year
-Above prices include the dog being spayed/neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, Heartworm tested (negative), started on heartworm prevention, regular deworming schedule, and flea/tick prevention.

$125 it they have been through a 10 week basic training course; everything above is included in this adoption fee along with them being microchipped (microchip is a lifetime member ship which has already been paid by us, all that needs to be done is switching it into your name).

Our adoption fees for cats are $35, this includes them being spayed/neutered, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV/Heartworm tested (negative), dewormed, and have been started on flea/tick prevention. (if the kitten you adopt is 6 months or younger we do not test them here at the shelter but strongly suggest that you take them to your vet for testing within 10 days of adoption, if anything were to be positive we will offer to exchange the kitten or a healthy one, at which point we will give you 90 days to find one that would be a better fit for your home.
