Montgomery City Animal Shelter/Project Precious Paws

Project Precious Paws was founded in July 2010 by a small group of dedicated animal rescuers who have a passion for helping find permanent homes for abandoned, stray, or relinquished animals. As of October 1, 2015 we are under contract to run the City of Montgomery Animal Shelter. We also take some animals into foster care. Animal intakes will be accepted on a space-available basis and an animal in our rescue will never be euthanized simply because they do not have a home.
If you think you might be interested in volunteering, please contact us, and we will be glad to talk to you about the many available opportunities.It does not matter if you want to spend 30 minutes or 30 hours a week volunteering - it all adds up and is for a great cause: to save some great animals, and volunteer with some great people! We have a lot of fun!
