Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Farrah has been in foster care with her siblings Jaclyn and Kelly, but It's time to move on so they're waiting by the foster's phone, waiting for the call that someone wants to adopt a kitten! Farrah's foster says that Farrah is a forever adventurer who marches to the beat of her own drum. She is constantly on the lookout for an adventure and absolutely loves exploring every inch of the world around her. She is always up for a good play session and when she finally tuckers herself out, she will search out her humans to snuggle in tight for a deep, relaxing, loving nap. Farrah is a super happy kitten that plays and explores just as hard as she loves - and cannot wait to share all of that with her new family! If you're thinking about adopting multiple kittens, her siblings would be the purrfect match. Why not double or triple your fun?
If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of three ways:
Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt.
**the below two methods are slower than visiting us**
Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours.
Check out the video (above, with the pictures) for top tips on how to bring a kitten like this home with you and integrate them into your home!
All kitten adoption fees include;
-spay/neuter
-rabies vaccination (if over 12 weeks of age)
-current on distemper vaccines (will need additional boosters with your veterinarian)
-FeLV blood test
-microchip implanted & registered to the adopter
-treatment of fleas/ticks/ear mites
-veterinary exam and health certificate at Dakin
-free vet exam within 30 days after adoption with participating veterinarians
Most pets have also received other medical care while with us. Your veterinarian may recommend additional health care for your new pet.
