For more information and the adoption application for Jake, please visit our website belowhttp://www.coastalgsr.org/dog_profile.php?ID=21482&name=JakeJake came to Coastal and was feral, because he was used as a breeding dog and wasn&#39t socialized with people at all. His prior owners kept him in the bathroom and when they decided to move they didn&#39t include him in their plans. Understandably, when we got him he wanted absolutely nothing to do with people, but he&#39s come around with the people he sees every day and is phenomenal with other dogs. We&#39re still working on leashing him and taking him for walks- when things go around his neck he gets very upset and starts alligator rolling. So, as of now, he&#39s in a doggy daycare setting where he can be with other dogs, but has only befriended a handful of people.With time and some patience, Jake, who is around 3 years old, will be a great addition to a low traffic household. The minimum adoption donation for adults is $300 and the adoption donation for puppies is $400 - $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.

Story
The sweetest most loving dog will sleep under covers right next to you. Loves playing with other dogs. Super fast at dog park. Will get other dogs to play with her. Great to give a little life into an older dog. Loves to chase any outdoor animal Squirrels birds rabbits. Very trainable. The only issue is that she is a bit anxious and protective at times. Meaning she could bite abruptly to others if they scare her. I would suggest Chloe's adoptee have a sub-urban like environment for her to run and have space. Definitely have a buddy or two, so having other dogs is suggested. She is a great companion though as mentioned she may nip, this is why I am forced to re-home her. I wish the person who adopts her have time and patience to train her and help work through her anxiety. She is extremely trainable.

This is 6 y/o beagle mix, Mindy. She is 25 lbs full grown. She was rescued from horrible conditions in Mexico and has been used and bred all her life for puppies. You are safe now Mindy! She is extremely gentle, caring, loving and great with children. She gets along great with other dogs and just wants a nice comfy couch to sleep on. She is looking for a home with lots of love and cuddles where she can FINALLY relax and not used for puppies. She is so loyal and obedient and great on a leash. Will you give Mindy a chance? Paisley is a full breed beagle who is 7.5 years old. Recently she has gone completely blind and has coped quite well. She is sweet but timid. We are not able to be with her due to our full time work schedules and feel she would do best with a family who has a stay at home parent and or a couple or person who is retired to be able to give her the care and attention she needs and deserves. Both dogs are female, sisters, not fixed. Very sweet and loving. They are playful but do not play with toys. They are almost 8 years old and weight about 11 lbs each. My daughter got them when they were 9 weeks old. She got married and moved away and was not able to take them (husband is in the Army). I work a full time job and live in an apartment. They are house dogs and love to be on your lap but also love to run around. They will sleep with you under the blankets. They are perfect for someone that has a backyard or has time to walk them/take them out. I love these dogs and would love to receive updates on them as much as possible. Hazel is all white with tan spots and Baiylee is tan with white spots. Their birthday is March 10th. They do get along with some dogs. They are happy and healthy. They had their shots in August 2019.

Story
Bailey is a sweet girl, the sweetest of them all. She has sweet honey colored eyes, loves snuggles and lives for treats. She’s hard to take out on a walk because shes gained so much weight after her spaying surgery went wrong. She almost died on the table and had to be put in an overnight hospital for 2 days for close observation. She’s been okay since but she gets tired on walks and we have to carry her home lol my girl deserves the best home possible. Someone who is able to feed her on time, on the dot, because she will rattle every gate and bang on every door until she’s fed. I would give anything to keep her but unfortunately our situation has changed. If you are interested in meeting this sweet beagle/german shepherd mix then please message me.
