Story
Burt is about 8 years old and blind and deaf. TOTALLY BLIND and mostly deaf. He has only one eye. But he doesn’t care one bit. He wags his tail 24/7. He is the happiest dog on the planet. He is SUPER affectionate and good with other dogs as well as cats and people. Loves to sleep in the bed with us, but will also curl up on the couch and sleep at night, as long as he has something soft, he is happy. Burt is not at all high energy, but has plenty of spunk for outdoor adventures. He LOVES being outdoors and rolling in the grass. He will need a fenced in yard in his new home, or someone willing to take him on plenty of outdoor adventures Burt does sleep a lot and is an absolute delight to be around. He is extremely affectionate!! Burt is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and kept on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. He is currently being fostered in Tennessee, but we will transport him to locations near DC, NY and the New England states. Please email us at brighthopeadoptions@gmail.com for an application.
