Story
ABOUT TIVA Looking for an active beagle mix? Meet Tiva! This little ball of life is a 2 year old beagle/terrier mix with energy for days! She came to HAP on a rescue flight from high-intake, southern shelters. While she hasn't been with us long, she quickly settled in and showed off her goofy, playful personality. Tiva enjoys going long walks and playing with toys. She is also super smart and very food motivated to learn. Tiva already knows basic commands and appears house-trained too! **Tiva is available for foster or foster-to-adopt at this time! In true beagle fashion, Tiva loves to use her voice, so renters are encouraged to consider this if you have nearby neighbors. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi my name is Benny! I am a sweet boy who loves my peeps so much that I want to be the one and only. I am fully vetted, and house and crate trained. I would love to have my own person that I can hang out with and even sleep with. I don't play well with others, but do ignore the kitties in my foster home. If you have a place in your heart for only one, please go to allmuttsmatter.org and apply for me!!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Story
This little guy may have been born with a gimpy leg, but he doesn't let it slow him down Dog Name: Puppernickel Breed: Beagle Mix Sex: Male Age: 7ish Weight: 40lbs Medical Needs: bum wheel (rear leg can't handle weight) and seems to have hip issues. Also missing some teeth. Housebroken: Yes Crate trained: yes, loves his crate Good in the car: yes he will sit quietly, getting him out of the car can be an ordeal Good on a leash: still learning what a leash is. But once on the leash he will sit Energy level: LOW. Seems to sleep 23 hours a day Need a fenced in yard: nope Dog Friendly: yes If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? Would not hurt, he watches other dogs but doesn't seem interested Cat Friendly? Unsure Kid Friendly: Unsure Definitely no young kids, loud noises and fast movements scare him. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them? Puppernickel is the sweetest dog, he obviously had a horrific life before being rescued but still loves to receive pets and sit next to his human. His crate is his safe space, so getting him to leave it is a struggle. Needs a quiet, low energy home where he can nap the day away. Adoption Applications can be found at grrde.org ##570809##

Story
We took in five dogs from a hunting club down south. All five have always lived outside and, sadly, all five are heartworm positive. We are dedicated to the medical needs of them all, seeing them through a successful treatment and placing them all in safe, loving homes. Finally, they will get to live indoors & be part of a family of their very own! We look forward to following their journey & will provide updates as we get to know them. Xander is 8 to 9-years-old, up to date on vaccinations, female dog friendly (sorry boys) and will be neutered & microchipped prior to adoption.
