Story
Cherry is a beautiful beagle from West Virginia. She's about 4 years old and weighs 30 lbs. She is very shy, but is friendly and likes attention. She's just not sure who she can trust. She is much more comfortable with other dogs around. She needs work learning to walk on a leash and will do best in a fenced in yard. She is very sweet and you can see she wants to overcome her fears. She just needs some time and patience. It has been difficult for her the past few weeks being moved several times. Once she gets to her forever home she'll be able to relax and let her true personality show. She rides well in a car and there is a possibility she is house trained. Cherry is looking for a home with a doggie sibling or two and a fenced in yard. Cherry will arrive in Massachusetts April 13.

Story
Mabel is a very sweet, affectionate girl. She's 40 pounds of energy and loves to go for long walks. Mabel will sleep curled up alongside you, especially when it's chilly. She is very playful -- she loves bones, squeakers, being rubbed to within an inch of life. When she needs to go out she'll go toward the door and stare at you, maybe whine. Mabel has pretty intense anxiety. When alone she will bark non-stop, so she needs to live in a house or with someone who is home most of the time. She cannot live with cats, small children, or seniors (she pulls on a leash and jumps). Mabel's crate trained and loves her crate. She loves hiking, too, but she has pretty bad motion sickness in the car. Mabel is outstandingly loveable and I hate to rehome her. However my dog is only dog-tolerant and I only took Mabel in short-term while her mom got back on her feet. Sadly, she is not able to take her back, so please let me know if you could be her forever home.

Story
Buttercup is a sweet cuddler who needs space to breathe. Shes 7 years old with no medical issues. She has tons of energy and loves to run. She makes a great running partner! I love her to death but live in a small place without a yard. Its not fair to her. Im hoping to find an avid runner or someone with some land to love her as much as I do. She loves to lick but doesn't like small dogs.

Story
Daisy is a spunky young pup ready to go home! Daisy was transported from the south and looks like a Catahoula mix, but what she`s mixed with is a mystery! Daisy is silly and playful, and is looking for help learning all of the things puppies do. She is still learning that it is not polite to jump on people or use her mouth while playing, so she would do best in a home with patient adopters who are able to spend time training Daisy and meeting her needs. Daisy would do best with teens that can participate in training. She could do well with a dog who is ok with puppy energy or a cat with slow introductions. Come on down to see if she`s the pup for you!If you think you are a good fit and would like to learn more, please click on the blue Inquire button above, fill out the form, and stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they’re interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

Story
Meet our beautiful Beagle girl named Lucy B; a sweet, never-met-a-stranger, Beagle/Hound mix is just 3 years old and a little overweight at 50 lbs.  A little fat but happy, Lucy B will make you smile when she gives you one of her best tail wags and her own special “good to see you grin”.   We think she is contemplating the Marie Osmond Weight Watcher Program and we do know that she will need to eat separately from other dogs when fed.   She loves “HER” food.   Lucy gets along very well with other dogs and cats.  Kids of all sizes are good, too.   She was found wandering the streets of a little rural town in Tennessee and the local animal control people picked her up.   She is ready for a new start to her life that has many years ahead.  Won’t you invite this love of a Beagle in to your life?  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Sorry, we cannot adopt to MA residents.
