Meet Scooter!! I am the newest member of the Ophelia Project please check out the HPC website for more information. I am a gentle, senior boy that is looking for a quiet place to retire. I love spending time with people. Beagles are known for having their noses to the ground. I still like to get out in the yard for a good sniff and run but come back to my people to get some lovin'. I'm Milo and I'm a pretty laid back guy. I love bones and playing with my sister Kida. I enjoy a great belly scratch and plenty of time outside in the sun. My sister is very shy and I act as her protector, as any good brother should! Because she is so shy, we are looking for a quiet home where she will feel more comfortable. I am house trained, kennel trained and ready to find a family that my sister and I can call our own! Milo is a beagle mix, weighs about 30 pounds and was born approximately 8/1/2017. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm and started on preventive. The adoption for Milo and Kida together is $400.

I'm Kida and I'm looking for a new family for my brother Milo and I to join. I'm very shy and it takes me time to warm up to people. I tend to hide behind my brother until I feel more comfortable. My favorite things include belly scratches, sunbathing, and playing with my brother Milo. We would love to find a quiet home so that I can feel more comfortable. Can Milo and I join your family? Kida is a beagle mix, weighs about 30 pounds and was born on 8/1/2017. She had a bout of pancreatitis so needs to be on a special food to keep her healthy and happy. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworms and started on preventive. The adoption for Milo and Kida together is $400.

Presenting Buster the Beagle! Buster is a sweet senior looking for a retirement home. Through no fault of his own, Buster was dropped off at a local shelter. At 12 years of age, that had to be a big shock for this boy! Luckily, Buster is a resilient guy – after spending a few months at the shelter he’s now in a loving foster home. You’d never guess he’s a senior, he looks great and has a good amount of energy. Buster is a happy dog, in spite of all the changes he’s been through. Buster weighs 35 pounds, and is neutered and up-to-date on shots. He has a chronic dry-eye condition, so he needs eyedrops twice a day. Buster’s a trooper, and is used to the routine. (He probably has a little vision loss, and we suspect some hearing loss too.) But, for a Beagle, the NOSE knows! Buster loves his walks and he LOVES to smell, smell, smell, and his tail wags, wags, wags! Buster even gets along with kids and dogs, and is also crate trained.  If you would like to meet this senior gentleman, please contact info@nebraskanokill.org. Suggested adoption donation: $150.00
