Story
Buddy, born approximately 12/30/2013, is a lovable Beagle looking for a home with experienced dog owners, preferably with another dog to keep him company and no children. His foster says that he is  an absolute sweetheart who may turn into a grumpy old man if someone tries to take a treasure that he conciders to be his.  He loves the tinkle of the car keys and is a great passenger.  At night, he is snuggler who loves being under the covers.  His ideal home environment is one where he gets lots of love and attention. Being a typical Beagle, he can be vocal at times so he would not do well in an apartment.  Buddy, like all Beagles, loves to follow his nose so a fenced yard is needed. The suggested adoption donation for Buddy is $300, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our animals in rescue. If you would like to welcome Buddy into your home, please begin by submitting our adoption application. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Presenting Buster the Beagle! Buster is a sweet senior looking for a retirement home. Through no fault of his own, Buster was dropped off at a local shelter. At 12 years of age, that had to be a big shock for this boy! Luckily, Buster is a resilient guy – after spending a few months at the shelter he’s now in a loving foster home. You’d never guess he’s a senior, he looks great and has a good amount of energy. Buster is a happy dog, in spite of all the changes he’s been through. Buster weighs 35 pounds, and is neutered and up-to-date on shots. He has a chronic dry-eye condition, so he needs eyedrops twice a day. Buster’s a trooper, and is used to the routine. (He probably has a little vision loss, and we suspect some hearing loss too.) But, for a Beagle, the NOSE knows! Buster loves his walks and he LOVES to smell, smell, smell, and his tail wags, wags, wags! I'm Milo and I'm a pretty laid back guy. I love bones and playing with my sister Kida. I enjoy a great belly scratch and plenty of time outside in the sun. My sister is very shy and I act as her protector, as any good brother should! Because she is so shy, we are looking for a quiet home where she will feel more comfortable. I am house trained, kennel trained and ready to find a family that my sister and I can call our own! Milo is a beagle mix, weighs about 30 pounds and was born approximately 8/1/2017. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for heartworm and started on preventive. The adoption for Milo and Kida together is $400.
