This gorgeous girl was left tied up on one of the rescues cars. All that was left with her was a note that she was a stray that showed up while the people were moving and they couldn't keep her. We don't know any more of her back story but it seems as if this girl has been in transition for quite some time. We feel like the best-fit home for Rose Mary might be one that can be a calm oasis for her. No small children, perhaps only one other dog and people who can help her forget all the past and become the loving dog we see in her. She is mostly gentle and wants to please but she takes a bit of time to warm up to you. She simply just needs humans that will give her a chance and be patient and she will reward them with her heart. For more information write BakerBridgeRescue@aol.com and ask for an application. Lulu is a half Jack Russel and half Beagle 7 - 8 year old female dog. She is tan and white and is a small/medium sized dog. She is good with kids and other pets. She does not go up on couches or beds. She is crate trained and house broken. She has a re-occurring skin and ear condition that I have not been able to solve. I have brought her to the vet and tried to cure it on my own but it keeps coming back. She is sweet and willing to please and would never hurt a sole. She will sit, lay, and bark on command. I also have a treadmill that she is trained to walk on that will go with her (For cold or rainy/snow days). She does not like water or to get wet but will somewhat tolerate a bath to please her owner. I have changed jobs which requires more travel and I am no longer able to properly care for her.

When he was 4 months old, he was put outside because he was too full of energy. He was mostly forgotten and quite lonely. He would wag his tail like crazy whenever he received attention. His parents may have been involved in an unhealthy lifestyle. He was found running in a subdivision dragging a large broken chain. He is blind in one eye and might be partly deaf. Bear is muscular and strong at 11 years old and weighs around 40 lbs. He is remarkably healthy considering his life experiences. He is both heart worm and Lyme free. He is now up to date on all his shots and neutered. He was a super good boy in the vet's office. However, the doctor did say he had a severe cataract in his right eye and that his eye should be removed! He is with a family who has him sleeping right next to her bed in a crate. And he sleeps very peacefully. He loves being inside with his foster family. He gets along with all the foster’s dogs. His foster mom will cat test him soon. This loving senior boy really deserves a family who would shower him with love in his twilight years. And in return he would give pure love and gratitude.
