You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Say hello to Lewis! This handsome guy was found with another dog as a stray. Both had collars but an owner never came forward to claim either one of them! We made both dogs Diamonds and thank goodness we did! Lewis is searching for his furever home. He loves long walks, toys and snuggles. He has not been around other dogs recently, therefore we will likely need to do multiple, slow intros with other dogs to be sure it is a good match. We think a mellow dog would be best for him. Lewis can live with a cat... He will chase at first so a dog saavy cat used to dogs would be necessary. Lewis is working on his leash skills and would benefit from a family who is willing to work with him on that. He can be protective of his people and surroundings but we believe a little work on training techniques for this would enable him to work thru it appropriately. He just needs a little direction from his people! Because of his size, we are recommending kids 13+ only. Red is a fantastic dog. Has a personality that will definitely brighten your day. He's a snuggler it's his favorite hobby besides getting the doggie zoomies while outside. He is fantastic with kids and other dogs as long as they don't aggressively play with him or he gets grumpy. He loves his treats after going outside. Toys are hit and miss. Loves to run. With that being said he has to be on a leash, cable run, or fenced in yard.
