Max is a 10-11 year old senior dog. We believe he is a beagle/collie mix. We rescued him about 6-8 months but need to rehome him because of allergies. I don't know how he gets along with little kids. He seems to get along with other dogs but he absolutely hates cats. I would not recommend a home with cats.

CHIP, and his brother Dale, were rescued from a hoarding situation where there were over SIXTY dogs in the house! CHIP is a year old, 30 pound Beagle mix (our best guess). Although he came to us frightened and scared, he is making great progress in his foster home. Initially, he would urinate whenever his foster tried to touch him but is now seeking a scratch on the head and is willingly taking treats from her hand. While Chip follows his foster mom around the house, he won't approach her unless she's sitting on the couch. With some time, love and patience, Chip will ultimately become a great lap dog! Even though he's scared, Chip has never offered to bite and doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body. He prefers to bark then run and hide. Chip is crate trained but as most dogs expects a treat after being a good boy and going into his crate when told. This little guy is looking for a permanent home that will be patient with him as he continues to come out of his shell. HART does have a professional trainer who is willing to work with our adopters and provide advise, if needed. Chip thoroughly enjoys playing with other dogs and is much cuter than his pictures portray! Meet Archie the one year old Beagle mix. This guy is sweet and ready for a home. He doesn't do well with younger children, so we would recommend him to go home with older teens or no kids at all. This is Daisy! She is 11 years old and still has some life to live. She is in need of a home that is low stress and where she could potentially be the only dog. Our family has recently grow with children and she is not happy with having to share attention and the "always on the go" environment. She is house trained but not crate trained. Daisy is okay with most dogs, never been around cats. She is a sweet snuggler and just likes to hang out. We would like to find her a loving home for her to spend her remaining years in peace and happiness.

Our dogs name is diesel, we adopted him from Paws for Hope during an adoption event at PetSmart. He is crate trained, and House trained. He doesn't mind small animals such as bunnies and cats. he lived fine with them for 2 years. He will passive aggressive lick them in the face to annoy them to get them away from you because he wants your attention. He is very smart, you can point and he will go. He can sit, give paw, stay and bark. His previous owner died in a car accident and we are unsure of his real age. The vet says between 6-8 years old. His negative points are that he is aggressive toward other dogs. and Humans when they try to punish him. He has separation anxiety and loves attention. He is probably best to be in a 1 animal home. As he has a long body and short legs he recently has shown signs of hip issues. He is also on heartworm medication. no other issues are known.
