Watch these two great videos of me! https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLM_uIo6J1bC58oHMXn-Hly8jdgQ2d6RDD Moberly is a super affectionate, lovable guy, just waiting for the right person or family to adopt him or foster him while he waits for his forever home. A handsome black and tan German Shepherd (possible a mix), he’s about two years old and weighs around 60 lbs. We at the rescue cannot believe he hasn’t been adopted yet - he is such a lover! In his foster home Moberly went from jumpy, exuberant, and willful to mannerly and compliant in less then two weeks. He has good energy inside the house, happy to lay around with a good chew, or rest at your feet provided he has had sufficient engagement. He is smart-as-a-whip, learns quickly, and would do well to have some mentally stimulating activities, like nose work, treat dispensing toys, or puzzle toys. This dog would love to go to positive reinforcement “school” and would surely be the top of his class. As a youngster, Moberly requires exercise but would do better with frequent shorter walks due to some dysplasia of his left hind leg. A good-sized fenced yard is a must. He absolutely adores people and would love a home where someone is there much of the time. If there are children, they should be 12 years old or over. He would be great for a person or family who has experience with German Shepherds and understands their personality. Moberly has done well being introduced and playing with other dogs. He met a cat while visiting someone's home and he was quite respectful of the cat’s space and did not “go after” the cat. So this is a good sign that he might pass cat testing – which hasn’t been formally done. The adoption fee of $425 covers the cost of his neuter, up-to-date vaccines, up-to-date rabies vaccine, any vet visits before adoption, and his microchip. Story
Oscar is a sweet 8 year old German shepherd dog that loves people, walks, and cuddles. We have had him since he was a puppy and has been through obedience training and knows all basic commands (voice and sign). Unfortunately our living and work situation has changed, so he isn't getting the love and attention he deserves. He would be best in a home that doesn't have other animals, or with someone that has patients to work him slowly into their home that already has dogs.

Story
Morris is a big Shepard/Lab, Pit or even Mastiff mix! He has black, shiny fur and weighs in at roughly 80 lbs! He is a big ole boy! Morris was found running on a rural highway and had been there a good 4 days. Morris went to the vet and it was found that he was chipped. We contacted his owner and they chose to give him up to rescue. Morris wants to be an only dog so he can get all the love and attention (which he deserves so much!) Due to his size and energy level, he'd be best if children in the family are at least 12 years old. He's a perfect fit for an active person/family who have a big backyard that is safely fenced, or a condo if someone works from home and is active. Morris is truly a big teddy bear. If you sit on the couch, he'll hop up and try to make himself fit in your lap to get cuddles! How can you not love that?? Morris does great with all people; truly, he really loves everyone. He is untested with cats, but is likely not good with them. He has completed a two-week, positive-based board & train program. He loved his training and hopes to continue it. He really wants to be the best family dog ever. He'll go into his adoptive home with good basic skills and good leash walking skills while in a harness. Please fill out the below application if you would like to have an awesome dog! Morris' adoption fee covers his neuter; rabies, DHLPP & Bordatella vaccines; Flea/Tick preventative, dewormer and his Microchip Could you appreciate his endearing awesomeness?
