Story
We adopted McCoy almost two years ago. I think he is the most beautiful dog I have ever seen. He is a great dog. He is very sweet and loyal. He has a lot of energy and needs to get it out. he turned two last month but in some ways he is still very much a puppy. He’s very protective especially of my children. He does not do well with other children.

Story
Hi, my name is Oliver.  I am estimated to be a three year old German Shepherd/Catahoula mix, about 65 lbs.  I was found as a stray but luckily made my way to the perfect foster family that showed me what true love is.  My foster family taught me sit, stay, down, front (which means come) and leave it.  They always tell me how smart I am because I picked up these commands so quickly.  I love pleasing people. My current foster family does not crate me but there is usually someone home with me.  I greet people gently, tail wagging.  I know I'm a big dog so I make sure not to jump on anyone.  I also take treats gently.  My foster family tells me I have such a great, calm demeanor.  A big reason I am so calm is they love to exercise me and I love it too!  I am constantly going on walks, jogs, and exploring.  My teenagers love to play fetch with me, I could play outside for hours!   I haven't met many dogs in my lifetime so other dogs make me a little nervous.  I did well during a meet and greet with two calm dogs, but I am intimidated by playful dogs.  My ideal home would be in a home with no other animals or with other calm dogs. My foster family has shown me so much love and they said they will always check up on me to make sure I am doing well in my future home.  I am hoping my perfect family finds me soon.  I keep hearing about the amazing trails in the Pacific Northwest and I'm so ready to explore!  Please contact Cati at cati@threelittlepittiesrescue.org for more information. ##622216##

Story
Aries was born on Feb 18, 2019. I took him in as a rescue when he was six months old, but he began exhibiting signs of aggression. After neutering him, socializing him with my husky and cats, and training him around other people, he has turned a new leaf. He loves to catch rain drops as they are falling from the sky, and will spend the entire day playing fetch with you. He is trained to walk without a leash, but has not completely mastered that skill yet (he gets distracted). With all of that being said, he is still triggered occasionally by men and is extremely possessive over his toys and food. Since I have small children that want to play and touch him without letting him sniff them first, I have reached the point where I need to make a decision on whether or not he can stay with our family. I believe that he would be much happier and experience a lot less stress if he is placed in a home with an experienced dog owner with no other permanent pets or small children.
