Story
10 yr old, 12 lb Bichon and Poodle Mix NEEDS DONATIONSWe need donations towards her heartworm treatment -- Due to prior neglect, Lindsay has tested positive for heartworms. She will be undergoing intensive treatment for several months to get those to go away. THEN she will be spayed, have a dental cleaning and have her left eye removed. We expect that she will not be available for adoption until the July/August 2020 timeline. Lindsay is an approx 10 yr old, 12 lb Bichon and Poodle Mix (see third picture for before/after). She joins us after being found by a feral cat TNR group while they were trapping cats. She was tied to and living under a trailer and was horrifically neglected. Lindsay is sweet and is so appreciative of any attention she gets. She loves to sit on laps and is calm and quiet. She appears to be pee-pad trained and will also go outside when taken. She seems to like the car. She was a good girl for the groomer. She sleeps quietly in a crate a night but also enjoys sleeping in the bed (shoot, anything is better than under a trailer in the dirt, right?) She is fine with other dogs and seems to ignore cats. She is fine with all humans of all ages. Since she is non-shedding, regular grooming appointments should be in the budget and are estimated to run between $50-75 every 4-6 weeks.
