My name is Britney. I am petite,single black and tan unattached female, looking for a lifetime commitment. Race and gender unimportant. Serious inquiries only. Even though I am petite, I could eat Paul Bunyan under the table. I like to walk, but will jog if you would prefer or go for hikes. I am very energetic and up for new adventures. I enjoy singing and dancing and I’m super playful. I also have a very sensitive side. If you like hanging around the house, I am totally up for that. We can be alone or with any friends that you have over - I adore people. I would love to roll around on the couch with you or we can roll around on the floor if you prefer. If you need time to yourself and choose to go hang out without me, I will be patiently waiting for you and will welcome you home with open paws and tail wagging. I was in a relationship, however it didn’t work out and I was forced to live in a shelter until a very nice person came and took me home with her. She is letting me live with her and is treating me great and feeding me until I can find my forever person. So if you’re looking for a wonderful companion who will adore you and love you, I am the one for you! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries. Daisy is the hands down the sweetest dog I've ever owned. She is as harmless as they come. She just wants to love and be loved. Gets along with all pets and people, and we're hoping to find her a good home for her golden years. I adopted her at around 5 years old, and she entered a home with 5 other dogs and immediately got along with all of them. She's over 10 years old now, but we're moving to a location that doesn't allow us to keep her. It breaks my heart to let her go, but she's so wonderful I want her to find someone special to spend time with. She's a slower-paced dog. Most of the time she just wants to lay down and relax. So a slower speed household works best. She is fine in our home with 4 children under the age of 10, but she's probably a good match for an elderly owner or someone who wants an easy going non-hyper dog to have in their home. Fair warning: She gets very car sick. So, my advice is keep them short and infrequent if needed.

Copper is a wonderfully sweet, loving boy that needs more exercise than this mom can give him. Through no fault of his own my schedule requires me to work 10-12 hours a day which requires him to be kenneled and that's just not fair to this sweet boy. He loves to run and play and loves a good sniff while on a walk. Cuddling is a favorite thing along with sleeping on a bed, however if you really want to make his day give him a toy with stuffing. Generally a good boy but I kennel him because when he's bored he's mischievous and finds all kinds of goodies to play with.
