Story
Meet Rocco SM Okay, everyone, I need to get the sad part out of the way. My owner “passed away” and that left me in need of a home. I am not sure what “passed away” means, but I think it is sad, because I don’t see my Dad anymore and that is sad in my heart. My Grandma tried to take over my care, but my energies were too much for a lady that is mature in her age. My Auntie would love to keep me, because she thinks I am the bag of chips plus a piece of bacon, but she already hit her limit with an undisclosed amount of pets at her own residence, you would need two hands to count them! I am the goldie locks of age, weight and color. Just right, at 3 years, 45 pounds and a bambi colored Black Mouth Cur mix. You could even plop a standard “German Shepherd/Lab” mix on my face too, I am just a good lookin moderately sized golden beef muffin stud cake with a chocolate dipped snooter. My fur is like a Lab coat, so I guess I am really into chemistry too. I am kennel trained and can sleep in there at night. When I am not sleeping hang on to your britches, because we are gonna do some fun. I jump higher than Jordan and my tug game is very ropey. If I were a gas, I would be high octane, the gas to drive cars, not the gas that comes from scarfing your food too fast. I pull on the leash while walking, but I am working on that with a gentle leader device that helps guide my muzzle, kinda like a horse leash if you really think about it. Me and cats are not in cahoots. I look for them when I go on walks, so I can give them the evil eye. They think they invented glares, cats, they think they invented the world. *rolls eyes* I am very affectionate and listen to commands from humans. Since I am high energy, I am refurmended to a home without small kids, so I don’t get into trouble in case I knock them down. But I could prob learn to not jump so hard on kids, because I am eager to please and my smarts are as big as my handsomes. The entire enchilada right here. I am currently learning STAY and working on my urge to jump up on people. Appawrently, a SIT will get rubs faster than an jump, who knew! My owner’s family wants very much for me to find a new home. I am available out of state, but if adopted locally, my family wants to hook you up with a brilliant trainer so you can continue to work on my commands. They might even help with training costs to sweeten the pot if you live out of state. That is to be discussed. They just want me to find a good caring home, since my owner is passed away. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped, heartworm tested and are current with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $400 for dogs over a year old, which also includes the cost of transportation to the assigned location. Medical records accompany each dog at the time of delivery and may be emailed to adopter prior to dog arrival if desired. Microchips will be automatically registered to the new owner after payment of adoption fee. The registration site we use is Michelson Found Animals which is free to use and update during the lifetime of your pet. Please allow 24-48 hours for the new information to appear on the website. God's Dogs Rescue will remain as a permanent back up registration for safety sake. Please visit our website http://godsdogsrescue.org/ for helpful information re: transport, our adoption process and application, volunteering and fostering, and photos of our dogs/pups looking for homes!! Thank you for wanting to adopt a rescued dog, their LIVES depend on it!

Story
We are in need of rehoming our sweet 6-year old dog, Hera. We are looking for a loving home with no children and no other dogs. Hera is very friendly, playful, loving and gentle. She loves tummy rubs and ear scratches. She's the kind of dog that wags her tail at everyone and will happily cuddle on the couch with you for hours. She can get very excited around people but she's generally a low maintenance dog. She naps for most of the day but does enjoy playing in the back yard or going for a walk at least once a day to get her energy out. She does not require a lot of attention but will happily take pets and cuddles any time you want to give them. She is used to being alone at home for long periods of time and is not destructive with property. She has a bite history (only one instance with our toddler, hence the need for a home with no children). She is up to date on her vaccines & is overall healthy. She does require prescription food (SO Urinary) to prevent bladder stones.

Story
** FOSTER OR FOSTER TO ADOPT ** While Cheech could be adopted someone needs to be dedicated to his needs and willing to work with a trainer. Please email us with any questions or concerns about him and we will answer your questions. our email seattledogs@hotmail.com Cheech is a beautiful mixed breed with a story that will melt your heart. He is 5yrs old, Neutered, UTD and Microchipped. He weighs 46 lbs and isn't a large dog. He is suited for home or condo living. He is house trained, leash trained and knows a few commands. We are looking for a foster/adopter for him and are willing to consider a foster to adopt. Cheech was surrendered thru our homeless program. Being homeless is hard on humans but its even harder on some of these dogs and Cheech bares the emotional scars of what he has been thru. Make no mistake he is a good boy that just needs a forever home. Please do not apply for him if your not committed to understanding his needs.Due to his previous life we are seeking a adult only home. Cheech would love to go for walks, hiking, camping, swimming and then go home and snuggle. He is good in the car. He needs an adult only home with no other pets or children. Cheech's adoption fee is $325 Disclaimer Often with rescue surrenders we are not told much about the dogs we take in and we want you to understand that they may have issues that we are unaware of. We do our very best to ensure we are placing them in homes they will fit in. They maybe afraid, not potty trained, or leash trained, may need time to adjust, give cuddles etc but one thing we know is that they are needing a home in which they can feel safe and loved and in return they will do the same. If interested in adopting or fostering please message us seattledogs@hotmail.com Seattle Dogs/Seattle Dogs Homeless Program is a 501c3 that helps both homeless and surrendered dogs find loving homes. Adoption fees go to support vetting and anything left over transfers to another pet in need.

Story
Milly is our 3 year old, 40lb, pit/plott hound/black mouth cur mix beauty and it doesn't get much cuter than her! She loves to play with people and other dogs, run and jump and is so very sweet! Milly needs an active home, with a big yard, runs daily or is willing to put her in daycare. She is also an escape artist and can climb so she cannot be left alone outside unsupervised. Mily is looking for a family that will invest in her and make her feel so loved. Families with kids over the age of 8 due to her energy level would be best and for those wondering, no cats! She is up to date on her vaccinations, spayed and micro-chipped. adoption donation is $325 Disclaimer Often with rescue surrenders we are not told much about the dogs we take in and we want you to understand that they may have issues that we are unaware of.
