Story
Wesley Jones is a young Bombay mix male that loves to be loved. He was found in a local neighborhood trying to get inside of someone's home for warmth and love. He was trapped and taken to the vet to check for a microchip, but had none and was to be re-released by the finder when spotted by an AJL volunteer and rescued. Wesley quickly makes himself at home, but is still a little cautious around newcomers and may need a little time adjusting. With that said, he's very friendly and absolutely loves human attention, is vocal, and enjoys a good neck massage!

Story
Howdy! My name is Bat the kitty cat, and I'm a sweet black DSH/ Bombay mix fella with a sleek, shiny coat and copper-penny eyes who was born in May 2019. I'm initially shy, but once you start petting me and giving me tummy rubs, I turn on my purr motor, which sounds like a perking coffeepot. Just watch the attached video to see how responsive I am to attention. Turn up your speakers, and you can hear me purr! Although there're no dogs or kids in my foster home, I'm great with all the other friendly cats. However, I can amuse myself with my catnip mice and balls with bells, so I can be alone okay. I wandered into my foster meowmy's community cat colony as a 3-week-old orphan with no mama in sight, so she scooped me up and brought me home. She knew that otherwise I wasn't going to make it. Now I'm a big beautiful boy who's ready for his forever home! Won't you come meet me today? Please don't be superstitious of black cats! Buster's Friends makes a concerted effort to rescue black cats and kittens from shelters because they are five times more likely to be euthanized than any other color of cat. However, many people who have had a black or Bombay mix cat before end up adopting another one because they seem to have such wonderful personalities and are emotionally stable and well balanced. Bat the kitty cat is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for his indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. His adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Bat, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet him. To adopt one of our cats, you must fill out our adoption application and be approved by one of our adoption counselors. To make the process more efficient, submit the online cat adoption application at https://www.bustersfriends.org/cat-adoption-application.

Story
I have had Catalina for about 9 years. She has always been the only animal so is a little standoffish around other animals. She would rather not socialize with any other cats and dogs. Always been a very sweet loving cat though! She is a runt so is a smaller cat. Unfortunately, ever since I became pregnant she has been having behavioral issues now. It’s been a very hard decision but I can no longer keep her due to our new circumstances. I have taken her to the vet and they have to believe it is behavioral due to my pregnancy.

Story
Meowzer was found in my brother’s backyard. He was part of a litter of 6. His mother returned for all the kittens except him. He was only about a week. We decided to adopt him so we bottle fed him since he was so small. He’s about 11 months now. He is neutered, microchipped and had his rabies vaccine. He stays indoors but likes to venture out on our balcony for some fresh air when it’s cool. I’m currently pregnant and can not care for him as I once could as it is dangerous for me and my baby to clean up after him and I am also concerned that he will want to jump into the baby’s bassinet once he is born. He plays well with my two girls. He likes his alone time but also loves to cuddle. He is trained to not jump onto tables or counters. I occasionally dog sit my moms chihuahua and they play well together. We want to find him a loving home rather than turn him into a shelter. We will provide the litter box, litter, food and bowls for him.
