RaeAnn 801-391-2523Sadie is a 7 year old border collie. She`s very loving and loves to play fetch. A yard to run in is required. She uses a dog door now. She was moms baby and only dog for 5 years. She loves being by her owners side. She`s always been an inside dog. She`s great with children but not a fan of cats and would be best as an only dog.

Story
OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Hobbs is a smart fellow that LOVES playing with toys, especially if a game of tug-of-war is involved! He is vocal when playing; it’s just his way of letting you know he’s having fun. Hobbs’s ideal home would be one that is active and will take him for walks and give him something to do that will challenge both his mind and body. He walks well on the leash, knows the sit and down commands and appears house trained. Treat motivated and is very gentle when taking them from your hand. Although he may chase a cat unless trained not to, he is friendly toward the other dogs here at the shelter. Weighs 55 pounds; $25 to adopt.

Story
Paul 385-492-1335please text me, The good: Sweet Pea is a protector and friend. I hate to see him go. He is a smart guy who loves to play. We think he might play all day if he could. His favorite play is fetching a stick or ball. He almost always returns the stick or ball so you can throw it again. He knows a few commands, come, sit, stay, drop the stick... We keep him in indoors, he is house broken, he does not scratch to get out. He is dependent on you to do your part to get him outside to avoid indoor accidents. Like all Border Collies he is actively present to ascertain every situation. We have a small dog and they get along OK. When is is relaxed he is super chill. The middle: He Barks. In my opinion he can not go to an Apartment setting and be successful. We have a small yard with a three feet fence and he does fine. He can and has jumped the fence but it usually to chase a Cat or Raccoon as far a way and up a tree as needed. He gives hugs( jumps on people he likes and if he is clean it is not too bad, if he dirty, muddy he still jumps on the people he likes). He needs seasonal grooming and hates baths. The bad: Sweet Pea gets jealous and he is a code red protector, like a guard dog. We keep him inside when the mailman delivers. He barks a lot indoors and outdoors, sometimes for no apparent reason other than he has been barking for a minute, and he can not find a reason to stop. I could say he does well with respectful children but it better to say Sweet Pea does well with the people who play with the most with him. One of my grandchildren plays fetch with him a lot and they are buddies. There is one child that does not play with him much and he is not his buddy at all and Sweet Pea protects his buddies(the child that plays with him). please text me

Story
Rounder isn't round any more! He was very overweight when he came to Four Paws (hence the name), but with diet and exercise he is in great shape now.  He might even need a new name--like Slim!  He is a CUTE Border Collie Mix about 7 years old (as of Jan. 2019). Rounder is house-trained and we are working on the crate-training.  He doesn't like to be confined and will bark if left in the crate, but is perfectly fine if left out.  We are unsure about cats at this time. He gets very attached to his person and needs to be around them all the time.  He will play sometimes, and tries to herd the other dogs.  He has very soft thick fur and loves to have his ears scratched and loves to be snuggled.  He gives kisses.  So far he has NOT tried to get on the furniture or the bed--must be good training from his previous home?? The adoption fee for Rounder is $150 which includes the spay or neuter surgery and vaccinations (rabies and parvo/distemper). We show dogs by appointment or at adoption events. If you would like to meet Rounder, please call and leave a message with Lisa (Director of Four Paws Rescue) at (435) 764-3534 or email us at scfourpaws@hotmail.com. Please be patient with us getting back to you as we are all volunteers with full-time jobs!  Thank you for your interest!Use this link to see all adoptable dogs at Four Paws Rescue!http://members.petfinder.com/~UT11/dogs.html

Tyson 801-920-1927She is very smart and full of energy. She is very beautiful but I think would be better in a home without young kids. She has never been aggressive towards them but sometimes I think they can be overwhelming
