Meet Cateleya, a 4-year-old bully mix with a heart full of love and a personality that wins everyone over! This sweet, friendly girl instantly charmed our staff and volunteers with her gentle nature and love for attention-she's all about the pets and affection. Cateleya has also done well meeting other dogs, showing off her easygoing, social side. She's house trained as long as she's kept on a routine and is crate trained, too. Cateleya does have some skin allergies, but our staff will go over her needs with you to make sure she stays happy and comfortable. While we're not sure how she'd do with kids or cats, we know she'll bring plenty of love and joy to her new home. If you're ready to adopt now and want to learn more about, meet, or adopt this pet, you can start the process in one of two ways: Come on in during open adoption hours Tuesday - Saturday 12:30-3:00! For in-shelter pets (not in foster care) coming in ASAP is the fastest way to adopt. **the below two methods are slower than visiting us** Call us (413-781-4000 x 1) or email us (springfield@dakinhumane.org) for more information about a pet. We are often on the line with another client, but we return voice mail and emails within 24 hours. All adult dog adoption fees include; -spay/neuter -rabies and kennel cough vaccinations - heartworm test -current parvo/distemper vaccines (may need additional boosters with your veterinarian) -microchip implanted & registered to adopter

Story
Marge is the sweetest old lady! She is a huge cuddlebug and wants nothing more than to sit in your lap and give you lots of kisses! She has some energy left in her to play and go for walks, but she would really prefer to just sit back and watch the snow from the nice warm couch. She does well in the car and enjoyed meeting lots of new people when she joined us on the radio. She`s an all around awesome dog looking for a cozy place to live out the rest of her years with some loving humans.
