He is a kind and affectionate companion, a gentle soul. Emmitt is a total couch potato and loves to snuggle. He will use his snout to gently nudge his way into your lap where he will sleep for hours. He loves car rides, but if he can't ride shotgun he will gladly sleep in the back seat. He has done well with other large dogs and would enjoy having a compatible dog friend to wrestle with. Lollie’s mama was dropped off at a local vet. When the owners found out the mom was pregnant they abandoned her. Lollie had to be adopted at 6 weeks cuz mama didn't care for pups. She grew up sleeping on my chest and nursing on my neck. She is soooooo loving. I have cancer and am going through divorce and moving. I can’t take all my rescues. I haven’t been able to get Lollie vaccinated or spayed. Just didn’t have the money. She needs obedience training. She is very smart. Loves the two other dogs. The other big dog Ollie is her best friend. I hate to lose her. Breaking my heart.

Gwennie is a sweet energetic roughly 5 year old Boxer/Staffie Terrier. She was owned by a homeless person who was unable to care for her and wanted her to have a better life. She was pregnant at the time and had 8 beautiful puppies. Two of her puppies are still looking for their forever home (see Star and Brittany on our page) and Gwennie is ready to find her forever home as well. Gwennie is young and has a lot of energy. She would do great in a home with an active family who could make sure she has plenty of exercise. Gwennie is selective with her dog friends. She can get along with some other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. Gwennie is sweet and funny and playful and a girl who thinks every day is a new adventure!
