Do you have a child who loves animals? Well, just like in the movie “The Little Mermaid,” this Ariel wants to be where the people are! Ariel has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), a disease that suppresses her immune system. But Ariel is a perfectly healthy cat, with no signs of being slowed down by FIV! Most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives with no symptoms at all. The disease is not spread to people or dogs. And it is not spread to cats through casual contact -- like sharing litter boxes, water and food bowls, or through snuggling, grooming, and playing. FIV is almost exclusively spread through deep bite wounds, and a spayed FIV+ cat is usually unlikely to infect other cats if properly introduced. But since Ariel doesn’t like cats (goofy girl), we think it is best for her to be the only cat in her home. Hi my name is Tia i'm a 3yr old declawed cat who has lot's of energy and lot's of love to give. I was adopted at 5 months old but my owners had 2 siberian huskie dogs and i was so terrified of them i ended up staying upstairs in a bedrm all the time and would never come out. My owners tried different things to help me but nothing seemed to ever work so after 3 yrs. they finally reached out for help. They found a foster mom who took me in right away and tried to introduce me to other cats in hopes of finding a wonderful home where i could flourish with a play mate. This foster mommie just loves me to pieces but unfortunately she has 10 cats and though i've come along way with them i still get too aggressive at times so i have to be confined to a rm once again! :( She says i'm just the sweetest little love bucket she's ever seen and i'm gonna make somebody really, really happy we just gotta find that right home for me....hopefully it's sooner than later. Hey everyone. My name is Daffodil. I'm soooo excited to finally have the chance to find my furever home. I couple months ago I was outside fending for myself. It was raining out and I really wanted to be inside. Thankfully, the right person noticed me. She took me home and saw that I was pregnant! I'm a little girl and I had a really big belly. Luckily, she was able to get me to a rescue and I got to have my babies in a nice warm home. There were 5 little kittens in there! I'm all done with my mothering duties now and I would like to find a mom (or dad) of my own. I love to have someone pet me. I wasn't fond of other animals at my foster home. They aren't sure if it's because I was being protective of my babies or if I would just prefer to be the only pet so I get all of the attention. :) They think I'm about 2 years old. Lilly is about 7 years old. She was found with her mom and litter mates at a very young age, too young for the shelter to take her. By the time Lilly was old enough for the shelter my wife and daughter could not let her go. Lilly also became very close to our dog, Libby. She followed Libby around like she was her mother. I suspect Lilly thought Libby was her mother. At the time we found Lilly we already had 2 cats, Izzy and Rudy. This summer all of worlds were turned upside down. Libby, finally succumbed to her old age of 15 and was put down at the end of June. In August, (last month) both of my kids and wife moved away to attend college. My daughter is in her first year of college and wife is also starting college away from home. So in a matter of weeks, the house went from a family of 4 with a dog, to just me. Lilly has struggled to adjust and is, I suspect, lonely. I work alot, and am unable to give or, or any of the 3 cats the time and attention they need, or deserve
