Story
Darla is a sweet little lady on the shy side who enjoys head and chin scratches. Isn't she beautiful? She raised five kittens and now it's her turn for a forever family where she can be pampered always! If you're looking for a friend, she's a talker and will be good company (though she's too proud to be picked up). :) She likes to play with toy mice and you'll enjoy watching how cute she is while playing! She gets along well with other cats and dogs. She would do best in a calmer environment without younger kids as she is still building her confidence. As a social kitty, priority will be given to applicants who will either adopt a kitty to be with Darla (we can make some recommendations for a good buddy!), or who have a feline friend already for Darla to share all of her adventures with. Forever Fortunate Felines is a foster-based organization, which means we really know and understand our cats' personalities since our volunteers live each day in their houses with our rescued cats. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need about our cats such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what kind of energy level the cat has, and all kinds of other helpful information to make a good match, like is the cat a coach potato? love bug? kisser? licker? Please apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue! I am ready for adoption so please contact us cats@fortunatelabrescue.org for more information or fill out our online application (http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/adopt) View all of our adoptable cats at http://www.foreverfortunatefelines.org/cats. Story
Smee has giant googley eyes that like to peer at you from across the room. He is noise reactive  (scared) with doors and new sounds which makes sense for a feral kitten convert after being outside for the first 2 months of his life. He can be held although at times he protests he has come a long way from being a skittish little outside baby. He loves to be around other cats and would benefit most from being around another kitten or cat that is social to people so he can continue to blossom and be his best self. He would rather play and be inquisitive than run to food like his siblings and takes time to settle in before you can scoop him up for love but purrs when you do and gives trusting blinks.  Our organization is a foster based which means that we really know and understand our cats personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued cats.  Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our cats such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they coach potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your pur-fect match in our rescue! Story
Hook is a spicy little kitten he is always ready to play and comes running for food time. Having been a tiny feisty feral baby for some time he can be dodgy at first but as soon as he gets settled hes a lover. He purrs loudest around other cats and would probably benefit most from being around another cat either his age or older that's grown more trusting of people. He would blossom most with a feline friend, especially one of his siblings Pan and Smee. Story
Veda is silly, sassy and sweet. She might be a tiny thing but that doesn't stop her from wrestling her big brother Sebastian! She loves foot rubs, splashing around in bathtubs, bird watching, playing, sneak attacks, and of course treats! Everything is a toy to her, but her favorites are ping pong balls. She will come greet you when you come home. She can be shy, but she's affectionate and a big snuggler when she's in the right mindset. She is deeply bonded to her brother Sebastian, and they should be adopted together. A calm quiet environment would be best for these two. Story
Sebastian is a goofy and affectionate boy. Talk about being the class clown - He loves to be the center of attention and will climb into your lap no matter the situation. This needy boy is always in the mood for snuggles and will let you hold him and squeeze him! He is also very playful and curious. He likes bathtubs, sinks, puddles, windows, snuggling, and sleeping! He loves all toys, but his favorite game is fetch. He plays fetches better than some dogs! Sebastian is deeply bonded to his sister Veda and should be adopted with her. Although Sebastian is very outgoing Veda would do best in a calmer environment.
