Story
I was scooped up with a few other cats and was really scared when I first got to Save-A-Pet. While I no longer hide when people are around, I am still a bit unsure but more and more people can get pretty close to me without me taking off. On the other hand, I absolutely love other cats and so it is great being here, because I have so many feline friends and can always find one to snuggle up with. Some of my special friends are working with me and I am making progress. So if you are a patient person that is looking for a friend for your kitty, I may be the perfect match.

Story
Addison was found in a soccer field in Island Lake and was very thin. It’s hard to know how long she was outside. She’s front declawed so catching food and escaping predators would have been very hard. She’s gained some weight since she's been in foster care. She loves wet food, but will eat dry kibble too. Addison is a really nice cat, she just really would rather be a single, lap cat. She doesn't mind men, she doesn't hate dogs but would prefer to keep her distance. We think she might be a little hard of hearing. She uses the litter box but does occasionally get too scared by other house cats to use it. She likes head kisses and head rubs. She will let you pick her up but she would prefer that you not. She has warmed up to her foster family and will sit in their laps which makes us think she came from a home where she was a lap cat to an older woman or couple.

Story
I like to be on top of the world when things get too busy, this way I can take a nap and when things get quiet or if some cats are ready to have fun, I come down. I love other cats and you will often see me, walking with other cats while we are doing side-rubbing. Not sure what I mean, what about coming out and checking it out. I would love a home with another cat or even two since I have plenty of love for all of them.

So soft, feel his fur. I guess all this talk must be good because everyone wants to pet me. It’s been a bit of a tough ride, landing at an animal control facility and no one coming to claim me. It is nice and comfortable around here, lots of attention which suits me just fine and boy so many cats so I am a little overwhelmed around them. Best way to relax is for someone to pet me, even better would be for someone to adopt me!

Story
Daisy is a female black and white shorthaired cat.Generally she is just a good natured, playful but cuddly cat who seems to like everything and purrs a whole bunch. She does well with respectful tweens, gets along great with the other cats and kittens in her foster home, and although she hasn't had much dog experience we think she is relaxed enough to live happily with a cat-friendly dog. She has a lot of energy and would do best with a playmate to wear her out like her sister Primrose.

Johnny Jump Up is a male black shorthaired kitten. Johnny loves people and usually starts purring as soon as you look at him. Generally he is just a good natured, playful but cuddly guy who seems to like everything. He gets along great with the other cats in his foster home. He would need a slow introduction to a cat-friendly dog. He has a lot of energy and would do best with a playmate like William to wear him out.
