Story
Debi just turned 6 in February. I've had her since she was a young kitten, she got alone with the other cat I had for 5 years but when he passed and I got another cat, does not get along well with her. She needs a quiet home with no children or other animals. She doesn't bite or scratch, is very low key and sleeps most of the time. Just gets anxious and hides if too many people or other animals are present. I just want her to have a more enjoyable life than I feel like I can give her.

Story
Kila is a ten year old cat with a heart of gold. Her owner passed away last February and has been living with me since. She lived with another cat until four months ago when that cat earned her angel wings. She is shy and startled by loud noises, but as long as she has a bed to run under or a closet to hop into she will feel safe. She is up to date on all her shots and is current with vet care with no chronic health issues. She is a real sweetie and loves her head massaged and drinking from her kitty fountain. I am moving and can’t take her with me, but want to make sure she finds a loving forever home where she can flourish as the cat she’s meant to be. Could you be the one for her?

Story
Adult, S/F, DSH, Brown Tiger. Wheezy was a stray picked up by a local Animal Control and in need of placement into a shelter. Shortly after being transferred it was found that she had a bad tooth which was subsequently removed by our veterinarian. She’s had full blood work done, been vaccinated, tested and must have belonged to someone because she was already spayed. Wheezy is playful and at times has a lot to say. She is a petite lady with pretty markings and is loving with a wonderful soothing purr. She is not fond of the other cats so a home as an only kitty is what would suit little Wheezy best. She is a great cat and will be a terrific companion.

Story
Adult, neutered male, domestic shorthair, black & white.Adult, neutered male, domestic shorthair, black & white. Moe is a handsome tuxedo cat sadly surrendered to the shelter with his sister “Laila”. Their owner needed to move to take care of a family member and unfortunately the family member is allergic to cats. Laila has been adopted (there was no sibling bond between them) and Moe is patiently waiting for his turn. It took him a while to settle in but he is now becoming more loving and engaging with the volunteers. He’ll seek out the attention from the volunteers and accept petting and brushing although isn't fond of being held. He enjoys his time perching at the window watching birds and the local groundhog do their thing. He is a sweet boy and we think he would do well in an experienced home that will give him time to get comfortable and familiar with his new surroundings.

Story
Courtlyn 1 is a very active almost 2 year old male tuxedo who loves to play. He is bonded with his friend Fawn 1 and we need to find them a home together. He is timid at first but once he warms up (in about 24 hours) he is a very social guy and loves to spend time with his people. His favorite toy is the cat dancer and he loves to chase his catnip mice and play wrestle with his buddy Fawn 1. He doesn't really enjoy being picked up but is a very lovey cat and loves to curl up on your lap and cuddle for hours a day. He and Fawn 1 will also sleep at your feet at night. Courtlyn and Fawn can be independent in the house and love to explore and go on adventures together. They would do well with someone who can be patient letting them warm up at their own pace but will shower you with cuddles and endless playtime once they are comfortable! This cat is currently in a foster home so if you would like to meet them please fill out an adoption application. They can be found at www.angelcathaven.com and can be filled out online, faxed to 617-488-2239 or emailed to cats@angelcathaven.com. **A special note: given the current social restrictions we are under due to COVID-19, the adoption process will be a longer one than usual to insure the health and safety of everyone involved.**

Story
Peters Mom is a medium haired, 2 year old dilute tortie female. If you like giving back scratches and getting Eskimo kisses, this little Mama is going to be your best friend. A total flirt to beg for attention, Peters Mom (who goes by Mama) loves getting petted. Tummy rubs, ear scratches – she’ll all about affection. And she’ll show some love too if you want to go nose to nose. While she will tolerate being picked up and held for a short amount of time, she’s not a big fan. What grown adult likes being picked up and held though, right? When you walk through the door, she’ll be right there to greet you. And if you really want to make her happy, just get a brush out. Mama’s favorite activity is getting her hair done. If you stop brushing her, she will very gently paw you until you get the brush back down to her. While not a lap cat yet, her need for affection, attention and brushing will outweigh her lap hesitation with a family willing to give it some time. She would do best in a home with no young children.
