Story
My name is Lucy Fire Station and I’m a 2-4 yr old female. I got my name because someone brought me to a fire station as a stray cat. I’m acting like a really sad and scared cat who lost her home. I’m a real sweet girl and loves being petted. I need someone to understand how very scared and traumatized I still am. Unless otherwise noted in the above description, Kitty Connection cats have been: – spayed or neutered – vaccinated against rabies and distemper – tested negative for FIV and FeLV – examined by a vet Adopters will receive their medical records. Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to providing a safe, loving home for life, then please contact Kitty Connection to set up a time to meet.

Story
My name is Island and I am a six year old female gray coon mix. Sadly my owner is moving and not able to take me with him. I have been a great family pet and very sad that I’m losing my home. My owner is an older adults so I am used to a quieter home setting. I would not be good with small children.I enjoy being petted in love by my family. When strangers come in I do run and hide, but I do come out once I am used to the people. My family doesn’t mind me doing this, because I am very lovable to them and that’s all that matters.

MEET BELLA! Check out her video!Bella was not happy to lose her home and her people due to a dispute with the landlord. Change is hard, especially for a senior animal. Senior? Bella doesn`t take kindly to that word. Yes she likes to sleep (often near the feet of her former family) but Bella was also said to get the occasional zoomies and run around her home, reliving her kitten days! Bella is looking for a quiet home with someone who can respect her body language that she doesn`t always want a lot of touching and pets. Bella loves treats and being cooed too but her favorite super power by far is taking naps in the sun beams streaming through the windows. Do you have the quiet, retirement home Bella is looking for? Come meet her in Boston to find out.Bella is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on BELLA or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
